My partner's name was on that list, although he did nit die post 1994, but on May 22, 1993. Shot through the head. I was trying to hold him in my arms, and keeping my own blood out of my eyes as the man, who never was found, had pistol whipped me first, crushing my skull, jaw...etc,.before he shot Mauricio through the head. My life's been spent alone since and I've remained alone although I'm not sure it is my choice, or if my face shows sadness, as I'm told. Guy was never found & no one cares.

I love the song!! But how true. I am ashamed to be a gay male sometimes cause I feel like, even though we still are being treated shitty, others get treated shittier. :-/

I have many friends who are straight who get bullied for being allies, I have many trans friends...and some of my very best friends are drag queens. And yes, we've all had a couple of bad experiences....and this video really hit home. Thanks m'dear!

I didn't get around to seeing your video until alter, I enjoyed it very much! Very good points, my brother was the victim of a hate crime and those who killed him paid dearly for what tehy did. But ever since he died I haven't been the same. I have deticated my life to putting bigots in their place and defending those who are different, whether they be transgender, bisexual, lesiban, or gay. And straight as well, there are straights who are beat up for their beliefs. Sad isn't it? Thanks!
