Aye, I like this alot. (& I agree with Kev about the voice). Fine usage of 'gaps' -silence- in between the playing, very effective and generates atmosphere. I think this technique is even more efective with just 'one acoustic guitar' as you are doing here. (I seem to have missed this Karl, for a week or so, maybe when my internet was down recently)- You are def' getting a good 'full' sound too. Are you now using a condenser mike to get this? -Ian
@ianmcgeachy Thank you Ian! Good to hear that your internet is working again. I guess it's a condenser mike I'm using, I'm recording with a videocamera I just bought. The other recordings been captured with a cheap photo camera, I'm working my way up.
I like the "silent dynamics" between single chords and singing phrasing. Sometimes a song can "open up" that way, sometimes it closes everything. I hope my version here "open up" the song! Kind regards! -karl

I like this Karl....its a very different sounding version but its nice to hear different interpretations...plus you have a better voice than cohen
