I really don't know. I really enjoyed it until it just ended, so it's a hard call. Imagine playing Halo or something, where the game just ends in the middle of a mission. Even though you enjoyed the rest of the game, you kind of feel robbed. It's also only 20 hours long, where I'm used to RPGS lasting me weeks.
It might be fun if you gather a few friends, a few drinks, play co op on it, and laugh at the ending. Just don't expect something special.
Eternal Sonata is a great game and all and will keep you playing for literally hours or even a full day .... but like he said it ends in about a max of 25 hours and basically the ending gets RIDICULOUS. I flipped out when polka jumped off the cliff and the story continued to get corny by the second. still I'd recommend the game if you dont mind a crappy ending....

i feel like trying to run forward would be awkward with natal cus u have to make the running motions without going so far that you run into ur tv so u have to do somewhat of a running in place motion without ur character deciding he is gunna run in place to because its being told to run in place by the camera
I imagine so. The Xbox Vision Camera was pretty expensive when it first came out, but that's down to about $10 or less now. It's £15 over here in the UK. Imagine it being expensive for being popular. Just look at the Guitar Hero/Rock Band instrument costs.

I thought ES was pretty good but too easy (which made it a bit boring) I'm not sure if you know, AnD4D, but Frédéric Chopin is an 1800s classical composer and pianist (in real life). The whole game was in his head and was the result of him dying (I think) and basicly, he tried to kill of his friends to help himself belive that it's a dream and they won't know they've been klilled of something. I think that's what was supposed to happen. But the game was far too easy and it was a bad ending ^_^

Sorry. But Project Natal looks like just a "better" PsEye. Don't work as a controller for every game. It will be more like a "funny acessory" for SandBox with family. Nice tech demos, bad presentations (Dumb games). Don't expect too much or you will be dissapointed.

If you have worked in games or have a good knowledge of games design and technology then you will know that the natal system will only work "well" with specific games,Marcelosouza is sport on. the bulk of the tek behind natal has existed for over 4 years , used as a method for retrieving 3D animation data from 2D footage. Complex game interaction requires hap tic feedback, natal is good for very basic casual games though and sand box. MS have to hyp it to sell it don't fall for marketing BS

You're right. That is the only one I've read. What I mean is the way it's presented. Go back to the Oblivion Demo at E3. It's all in game, but it's 99% scripted. Of course it's still in progress, but at the moment, with today's technology, we're not at AI yet. I'm pretty sure Milo doesn't understand a word she says. Sure, he can see colour, etc... but I doubt it will be as good. Who knows? We can only wait until it's release. Pondering is pointless.

Really? I read a review of Milo, and it said that while people were playing the game, an operator was sat controlling Milo in real time. He can only say what he's been recorded saying. Very little AI, and you can't synthesize voice all that well yet. Maybe I'm wrong.
Really? I really enjoyed Enchanted Arms. It dragged a little bit, and the ending was a bit disappointing, but I got on with it. Lost Odessey wasn't as good, but it was alright. Again, poor ending... But I got far more for my money than I did for Eternal Sonata, that's for sure. Short game, and bizzare ending.

Yeah, I just saw the Microsoft introduction video of Project Natal. But I don't know about it.. I mean there are a lot of things on our planet that we Don't know about, and Im talking about technology. But hey, if they use special suits in million dollar movies to create virtual movies or also in the game industry.. Then why is it possible all a sudden that We' can do this without special suits and simply as input for an entire game..? I just don't know about this man.. It looks cool though.

Uhmm I don't think that Project Natal would do great with shooting games... It's a new dimension for gaming like the Wii fit and music type and the PS2 eye-cam thing... Project Natal would have it's own games like you would see on the E3 show... SO you still have your own 360 controller(s) to play shooters, but with Natal it's quite different. I saw Natal a few minutes ago andit is unbelieveable. Games that i'm expecting in the early going are child friendly games/sporty/workout games to lure in the parents. Once they've done that, hopefully we can get some banned Microsoft advert games.

There are some great games (like Zelda), however, It took the Wii 2-3 years to get PROPER Sword combat (red steel) Plus, how is FPS going to work ( I can understand railshooters). Not only that, The Hardcore games that don't uses it will be overwhelm the ones that do.

Both very good points. But it is meant to be a 3D camera, so I imagine even the slightest movement will provide a perspective for the camera. There is a working example of the camera on youtube somewhere, but just as you said, it's a Prototype. The guy pulled a pose, and suddenly the on-screen character's limbs became all twisted (arms wrapped around his head, etc). So it's real... just not finished yet. Reminds me of the first Oblivion Demo... that was very scripted, and very fake. Shame.
yeah but how much do you think it will cost to make two 3d camera's to pick up everything correctly even between other people and animals moving around the room and pick up the right faces. then they will have to sell it more than what it costs to make or they are gonna lose more money i think this is a bad move. It will either do well for them or its gonna go right down. They have said it can do so much stuff even though its not 100% done thats why I think its a risky move.what games you got:)

JVC Everio HD30. It has a 60gb hard drive. It's pretty awesome, and cheap, but it can lag a little when there's a lot of movement.

The whole game was in his head and was the result of him dying (I think) and basicly, he tried to kill of his friends to help himself belive that it's a dream and they won't know they've been klilled of something. I think that's what was supposed to happen. But the game was far too easy and it was a bad ending ^_^

Sorry. But Project Natal looks like just a "better" PsEye. Don't work as a controller for every game. It will be more like a "funny acessory" for SandBox with family. Nice tech demos, bad presentations (Dumb games). Don't expect too much or you will be dissapointed.

If you have worked in games or have a good knowledge of games design and technology then you will know that the natal system will only work "well" with specific games,Marcelosouza is sport on. the bulk of the tek behind natal has existed for over 4 years , used as a method for retrieving 3D animation data from 2D footage. Complex game interaction requires hap tic feedback, natal is good for very basic casual games though and sand box. MS have to hyp it to sell it don't fall for marketing BS

Hey, not need to explain, everyone's different. I, for example, don't really like Movies all that much. I'd rather pay £30 and have 20 hours of fun, than £20 for a Blu-Ray and only get 3 hours.

You're right. That is the only one I've read. What I mean is the way it's presented. Go back to the Oblivion Demo at E3. It's all in game, but it's 99% scripted. Of course it's still in progress, but at the moment, with today's technology, we're not at AI yet. I'm pretty sure Milo doesn't understand a word she says. Sure, he can see colour, etc... but I doubt it will be as good. Who knows? We can only wait until it's release. Pondering is pointless.

The Lionhead video of Milo is a fake, but I saw another video where the on-screen character got messed up (all twisted), and I doubt they'd have faked that. But who knows! Conspiricy!

Really? I read a review of Milo, and it said that while people were playing the game, an operator was sat controlling Milo in real time. He can only say what he's been recorded saying. Very little AI, and you can't synthesize voice all that well yet. Maybe I'm wrong.

Really? I really enjoyed Enchanted Arms. It dragged a little bit, and the ending was a bit disappointing, but I got on with it. Lost Odessey wasn't as good, but it was alright. Again, poor ending... But I got far more for my money than I did for Eternal Sonata, that's for sure. Short game, and bizzare ending.

Yeah, I just saw the Microsoft introduction video of Project Natal. But I don't know about it.. I mean there are a lot of things on our planet that we Don't know about, and Im talking about technology. But hey, if they use special suits in million dollar movies to create virtual movies or also in the game industry.. Then why is it possible all a sudden that We' can do this without special suits and simply as input for an entire game..? I just don't know about this man.. It looks cool though.

Apparently there is no release date yet... but I'd imagine 2010, if not even 2011... which would be silly seeing as the new Xbox is said to be coming soon after that... I believe...

I think it would even funner if they found a good way to make say COD on Natal ...Imagine ducking having to hold ur gun throw ur gernade that would gangsta fuck u fat kids that cant play cause u cant squat...some games are for relaxing but most shooters arent relaxing if u play competetivly...

Uhmm I don't think that Project Natal would do great with shooting games... It's a new dimension for gaming like the Wii fit and music type and the PS2 eye-cam thing... Project Natal would have it's own games like you would see on the E3 show... SO you still have your own 360 controller(s) to play shooters, but with Natal it's quite different. Look it up on google for more info...

I saw Natal a few minutes ago andit is unbelieveable. Games that i'm expecting in the early going are child friendly games/sporty/workout games to lure in the parents. Once they've done that, hopefully we can get some banned Microsoft advert games.

You don't understand. No, the "kids" are Teenager who wants mature game with blood and violence. Plus, there is a chance it'll get all the bad Wii port (yup). I thought the Wii motion control will be great. There are some great games (like Zelda), however, It took the Wii 2-3 years to get PROPER Sword combat (red steel) Plus, how is FPS going to work ( I can understand railshooters). Not only that, The Hardcore games that don't uses it will be overwhelm the ones that do.

dont get to ecxited it might not even happen they just want to try and have the best idea for the e3 show .this is not even made otherwise it would be out soon and not 2011 that kind of stuff is very future complex stuff its much easy for them to set it up for the show since its the Presenter doing it and not another person. it does seem a Good idea or a bit of coppy of wii but lets wait first for them to make it first cause since 360 sales droped and credit crunch not that easy to get a loan

Both very good points. But it is meant to be a 3D camera, so I imagine even the slightest movement will provide a perspective for the camera. There is a working example of the camera on youtube somewhere, but just as you said, it's a Prototype. The guy pulled a pose, and suddenly the on-screen character's limbs became all twisted (arms wrapped around his head, etc). So it's real... just not finished yet. Reminds me of the first Oblivion Demo... that was very scripted, and very fake. Shame.

yeah but how much do you think it will cost to make two 3d camera's to pick up everything correctly even between other people and animals moving around the room and pick up the right faces. then they will have to sell it more than what it costs to make or they are gonna lose more money i think this is a bad move. It will either do well for them or its gonna go right down. They have said it can do so much stuff even though its not 100% done thats why I think its a risky move.what games you got:)
