I saw the episode and misconstrued that Torchwood had the Genesis Ark. My mistake. The Daleks were protecting it so they could use it to release their imprisoned bretheren.

Torchwood had taken the Genesis Ark from the Daleks - the Daleks wanted it back, so they came through the Void. The reason that The Preachers fought alongside the soldiers and the Cybermen was because they had fought against the "Pete's World" version of Torchwood. They probably did not want the same thing that had happened in the parallel world to happen in our world.

The daleks apsalutely boss the cybermen because they have an unfair advantage of having better armour. The cybermens arm cannons cant penetrate dalek shielding, so the cyberemen are effectively defenceless and get slaughtered, no matter how hard they try.

Well torchwood did kind of side with the cybermen and jakes soldiers. I've watch this clip time and time again and all of the fractions are shooting at the daleks, that's why when you look close you can see the bullets melting (torchwoods guns), the cybermen's guns making the dalek sheilds glow red and the guns designed to destroy cybermen make the dalek sheilds glow blue (jakes soldiers guns).

Technically if you remember, Jake's soldiers and the Cybermen did team up at one bit to storm the Sphere Chamber. Also they seem pretty allied to me- see how humans and Cybermen stop firing on one another and turn on the Daleks (for all the good it does).

Cybermen are rezistant to light weaponry, and have a whole population that they can upgrade to increse their army, but their limited too walking. Ok darleks they have a good fair platoon of air/land units, and are very resistant to weaponry.

im my verdict darleks would win and heres why

These Cybermen where made with technology similar to that of current Earth (Only on an alternate Earth.) These Daleks on the other hand seem to be up there with the Time Lords technology wise. Or at least close enough to be an actual threat to them. And needless to say Time Lord tech is very uber.
