If the socialist view point could be a just a little less group centered I could support it a bit more. Although, I do find the idea of everyone pulling together to make sure more people have everything they need is a bright point.

Thats odd, but kinda good in it's own way, I've been up for communism/socialism since I learned about the USSR (history fanatic, so I learned about them early in my life), and I've looked into communism/socialism, etc, all I know is that Capitalism fucking sucks, and Socialism sounds just good to me, I don't know why, it just does... probably explains the USSR flag in my room.

I agree on the human nature part. It's human nature to want to punch someone in the face when they piss you off, but you hold yourself back from it... If greed was human nature, why isn't everyone stealing other peoples shit? Exactly... they don't because most humans know its wrong.

My only criticism of MaoistRebel's video is that it only pertained to State Socialism, different models of socialism include the cooperative company model, libertarian socialism in which there is no state, hell actually there are a lot of different ways socialism can work.

State socialism is like a Worker's form of State capitalism IMO. I favor a mix of cooperative companies in a regulated market with a democratic socialist state myself.

Not really.

In a Worker Cooperative the workers would own the factory and democratically manage it, all the surplus value after taxes would go back into the company and to the workers, they'd all have a vested interest in producing good coats and making the workplace prosper because they'd all have a direct economic stake in the company.

So ultimately more people would have money to circulate through the economy and there would be less poverty. Check out Mondragon in Spain
