i thought this episode was amazing!.. come on people , it's smallville what do ya expect? After seeing the entire show, minus some of season 8, I thought this moment in the series for lex, for clark and lana for many things was just brilliantly orchestrated by the writers. i take smallville as a WHOLE (1-10) the entire journey. Great entertainment...had me on the edge of my seat for ten years!

I think he should just keep friends with lois cause Lana seems to be the one who doesn't wanna interfere with clarks destiny and I don't think lois should be able to either. Then at the last episode he should run into lana and then yea whatever happens there is what happens.They should let lois go with her bf in the show green arrow and the end.

Folks, for all of you that says Lana dies. Not happening. In the comics, she eventually marries Pete Ross and then divorces him. So...it's gotta be something else. I love the whole Lois-Clark thing, but in Smallville, there is just more chemistry between Lana and Clark because Kristin and Tom who play their roles are just closer as friends than Erica and Clark. But Erica does play one hell of a Lois.

Either she will take all of the kryptonite and go somewhere with it and die or absorbs too much of it and therefore must stay away from Clark forever.
Either way, she will lose her powers as there was no suc thing as a Super Lana!

It would explain the legion episode (season 8 episode 10), where Imra (saturn girl i think) states that Lana has a special destiny - perhaps saving the whole of the city from lex's attack and killing herself or possibly the loss of her powers and memory (perhaps) as technically in the comic book history she is still alive when clark becomes superman and she is unaware of his duel personas. But thats just a thought being next weeks episode is lanas and kristen last ever episode

this season is new n fresh it gave the series a chance for focus on other storylines.. n i must say for the first tyme in years, i have not missed one episdoe of smallville....but still i think this might be it for the show, its last season, i dont want it to end, but i kinda see it coming, the show is broke they cant affiord to have all there cast members on the same episodes, shows that done that in the past ended ie charmed, Angel,

this is such nonsense... at first they make him feel for lois, and let them almost kiss. and know he's obsessed by lana AGAIN. But you'll see, after lana has ended up her storyline, nobody's gonna remember her name.. it's lois and clark... this is the only important storyline, if they wanna bring love in this superherostory

I think it's kinda like back in season 1 when they were making us wait for him and Lana to get together.Just a guess.BTW I think the reason is because not only because we want him & Lois together but it's because 99% of the time Lana is around,it's all about her & Clark

right on. probably the reason why i dont favor episode 13, where the world revolves around clark and lana, clark and lana, clark and lana. yada yada yada. no doubt that lana is a sweet girl, and beautiful, but smtimes being toooo perfect is,really, actually boring.

the truth is, i just dont like lana lang's character. i dont think she has any spark in her. i think lois is much more fun, so, there. lana lang reminds me of meredith grey on greys anatomy, another character which i dont really like LOL

I feel the same way.I used to like Clark & Lana together but it got boring for a while and Lois came into the picture.Then I wanted them apart.I think they brought her back so it'd be a while for Lois & Clark to get together.
