i also played this game at lauch for1-2 months (there were a lot of bugs,otherwise i'ld have played more to this game) and i was loving this class ... the best class ever seen in a mmo ^_^

And what's so different about WoW? If anything AoC has MORE casting animations than WoW. The "same" effects just come from the class you play. I played a necromancer and had plenty of differing spell cast effects.
Yes, demon form does have a duration, its like a cool down, I think it lasts 40 seconds and takes like 2 minutes to recharge, so you use it for really tough battles.
i remember hoxes bieng realll fun at low lvls but at high 50's i just end up having to use the same boring combos....and sucking at pvp is never fun :( but good vid tho

heralds are pretty good pve it seems. same for pvp if they can hold their enemy still to get the combo off. after the first week of the game me and some friends lost interest.
That vid is the hawts. Great timing on music, image and the lighting effects, very enjoyable and just made my class choice final (FINALLY!, so tyvm <3 :P
Don't know, sorry. What I can tell you though, is that spells require mana and combos require stamina, and HoX is one of the few classes that relys heavily on both.
it probably depends on how you want to specialize it, if you wanted more melee i'm sure there's a feat tree for it, not to mention the general soldier tree, or if you wanted more casting there's probably a feat tree for that too
you havnt even seen ganking yet. ganking is way worse than that...real gankage is only when they wait for you to spawn and the second you do you get sliced to death.

Yes, demon form and thats it. Although you do get an upgraded demon form in a certain Feat. Tree.

HoX can only wear cloth/silk armor but they can use two handed edged weapons.
