Well, if by "satan" you mean the Evil Inclination within each of us, then I agree. Paul used the Greek words "sarx" (flesh) & "pneuma" (spirit) and Freud used the words "Id" & "Super-Ego," but each took these concepts from the Jewish Sages, who spoke of the Yetzer HaRa (Evil Imagination) & Yetzer HaTov (Good Imagination). The former is simply our Survival Instinct & Sex Drive, which aren't evil in & of themselves, but can easily run amok, if they aren't tamed & made to serve the Good Impulse.
