@StarSancFar Quarks, along with leptons, are a kind of fundamental (most basic) physical particle. Heard of atoms? Atoms are made up of electrons whizzing around a nucleus of protons and neutrons. Protons and neutrons are made up of 3 quarks each. AFAIK we don't think quarks are made up of anything smaller.

Quark in other contexts could mean the Ferengi dude from Star Trek, or a kind of soft cheese.

This is *exaclty* the reason why I'm so pissed that new shows almost invariably lack a theme tune. If SG1 had been like the newer Stargate Universe, this in-joke would've NEVER been possible!

I keep complaining but people keep telling me stuff like "chill out man, it's not like the theme tune is a major part of the show!". Well, I maintain that it IS. It's a BIG part of a show. GIVE US THEME TUNES BACK!!

I totally agree with you. Theme tunes and title sequences are an important part of any show. What's even worse than a lack of one, however, is when they cut the middle 90% out of the titles and butcher the theme to fit it in that 5 second clip!

While I do think season 7 was their weakest year, I still love every episode. This was a nice development for Carter, we get to see a boyfriend that lasts more than 42 minutes! This was a fantastic scene between two great actors and good friends, they know how to play off each other brilliantly. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
