@NYVoice Hey NY, I'm originally from LI and I was referring to the first comment posted. Like you I first saw BOC on LI in 77, the Ramones opened for them and there wonderful lazer show. I've seen BOC about once a year ever since. Except the years they didn't tour. I'm going to see BOC today up in the mountains of Colorado at Steamboat. Thanks for your comments and I miss my friends and cousins there in New York.
Get outta here! I was there at Coliseum show on Feb 4, 1977. I sat 4th row off to the right all by myself. Yes, The Ramones opened-which after a rather repetitive set were roundly booed off the stage. It was like "they're a club band, not arena friendly".But the Cult nailed it-Albert had a monster solo-and the laser show certainly enhanced their standing as a premier live band (not that their playing was any less superb). It was a snowy night as I recall.

hope they sound better in August at Silver Springs.......the keyboards are little loud in the mix during this song

I saw them in 1976 and through 1981. Cowbell never had anything to do with it. There was NO cowbell-just good musicianship.
