  • BUEN VIDEO.

  • hi man Can you tell me what the sample of Italian song that feels "when all light dies" ?? thanks man

  • @ciaio87 searching for the sample from "when all light dies" as well

  • Stoupe is a genius, my all time favourite producer hands down and considering all the beats on VBD were probably done in his bedroom on some piece of shit makes him that much better. He needs to get the respect he deserves

  • @cetnikz tolis voskopoulos-kai esi tha figeis

  • it's too bad these terrible rappers have to ruin this man's beats

  • Good videos, you don't realize how much music this guy knows until you break it down like this. Guy definitely does hard work.

  • i cant get enough of stoupe him and alc are sommthin else man

  • the dopest producer in hip hop today. a mile off

  • stoupe enorme

  • Stoupe is honestly a genius in creating hiphop beats... who the fuck thinks of sampling the most obscure music, and turn it into something in the hiphop form? Old Songs, TV, Movies, interviews, even video games... I dont know any other producer who can think like that.

  • @DJMastaTech yeah dude he's definately my fav producer the samples he uses are soo sick

  • @DJMastaTech This may be a stupid question, but does "sampling" mean you're using other artists' work? So then do u have to get permission to sample?

  • @DJMastaTech Lots of great producers do that. Stoupe's influences, dudes like Large Professor and Pete Rock, sampled mostly old soul and funk records. Stoupe's major innovation was sampling ethnic music, mostly Latin, but also others. (The very first sample in this vid is a Greek bouzouki.) But to do that, you need to have a wide range of musical taste and really listen to a lot of old shit...something that most "producers" today don't and won't do. They're too lazy.

  • @DJMastaTech stoupe is great, but you're wrong in saying no other producers do this. hiphop is based on finding obscure samples from the most obscure and ironic places.

  • Muerte is my favourite.

  • Please, lease please, someone tell me the name of the song in the first 10 seconds of this vid. It's so amazing like with all the greek music. Thanks for any replies.

  • @andre2j2

its called blood in blood out

  • Thanks bro. Appreciate it

  • What are the legal rules for sampling?

  • technicaly you cannot sample without permission from the copyright owner, but, there are thousands of producers who sample tracks without permission. the only worry you have is if one of your sampled tracks makes it big because then somebody might hear it and take you to court.

  • Thats why nobody samples the beatles

  • HAHA right.

  • But actually Wu Tang did sample the beatles. Even though it was more like a remake.

  • the RZA sampled the beetles!

  • Yeah i heard that song right after i wrote that comment, its more like a remake though.

  • @dumpinfoolz420 using a sound from another artist's copyrighted work is copyright fraud. EVERYONE MAKE SURE YOU WATCH "COPYRIGHT CRIMINALS" WHEN ITS OUT WITH DJS LIKE Q BERT, RAPPERS, GROUPS AND THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN SAMPLED!

  • anybody know what the greek song is at the beginning? i know he showed the cover but i cant read greek.

  • The cover reads

    Tolis Voskopoulos (artist)

Stis zois mou tis strates (LP)

  • blood in blood out

  • oh lol never mind i said the jmt version my bad

  • Sonia Silvestre -estabamos juntos

  • yo this vid is sick, seriously i always like to hear these

  • and what are the two after the other track i asked about?

  • whats the song that begins at 2:50

  • exertions remix

  • retaliation remix

  • e re mexri kai voskopoulo samplare....megas...

  • you're clearly an idiot. listen to the whole fucking video and compare the original samples, the difference is incredible on some of them. why can't people like you just face that hip hop is like that and stay the fuck away from videos like this

  • @brammers56 plz explain I dont understand what you mean and I dont know who u are responding 2

  • @brammers56 i agree and it doesnt matter if its the same. there is a skill and finesse to the art of this kind of sampling. if you wanna talk shit about how unoriginal it is talk shit about eminem directly rapping over an aerosmith song .. not a raw ass producer sampling obscure shit and chopping it up like how hip is SUPPOSED to be done.. people need to get over the fact that hip hop is not the same as playing in a band.. its just a totally different thing so get over it

  • @brammers56 some are slower some faster

  • @brammers56 who you talkin to? lol

  • I agree with brammers. You clearly have zero musical appreciation whatsoever. YOU are in fact the lame manager that puts boy bands together, faggot. You know nothing in the form of hip hop, let alone musical theory.

  • As already stated, you're clearly and idiot.

  • *an idiot*

    my bad.

  • Most producers sample because sampling has a certain gritty sound to it that can't be properly achieved by using keyboards and other types of "synthetic" instruments. Alot of rock bands hate on Hip-Hop for using "fake" instruments and "fake" drums. It's all music my man. Sampling sounds dope. Keyboards sound dope. Real guitars sound dope. Why hate?

  • It's not about where sample came from... It's where you're taking it to.

  • vinandbrit...half the music you listen to is probably sampled or covered...but i guess you would be too ignorant as to where your music comes from to realise that

  • i guess you dont jedi mind wery well, cuz stoupe is known for having 50 or even up to 70 different samples in his tracks, but if you think its easy to be a produser, then why dont you get crackin producing???

  • your a fucking moron... don't badmouth something you know nothing about, just because you've seen a video or two about samples does not mean you can put down generations of genious sampling.

    PRICK!!!

  • the muerte sample is fucking genius

  • tolis voskopoulos...bouzouki means Greece...everyone should listen to its sound...

  • coz it is Irena Santor from sample ...

    lol lames ....

my Mom remember this song ....

  • so simple and so dope!

  • I never knew why i identified so closely with stoupes style, but knowing he samples ALOT of spanish music it makes more sense why his shit seems to touch my soul.. haha sounds corny but wordlife, duke is sickk!

  • i agree when u say stoupe shouldn`t limit him self to this dude he is way to good and there wat to many fuckin hot mc out there that would of mind fucked his beats and he gave waaaay to many of then to this dude tha in truth sound more like a rock n roller that couldn`t make it

  • are you serious? vinnie paz spits the fucking truth, unlike all these wack ass mcs now a days talking about non sense bull shit, so how are you gonna sit there and talk shit about one of the realest mcs out there? your fucking ingorant

  • no shit ^

what do these kids listen to?

    lil wayne or some bullshit?

  • Lol I love lil wayne has become the new person to use in the trash talking of the underground "You like lil wayne" is such an insult, although I agree I hate that whining bitch

  • stoupe and vinnie r tha shyt!... thats the thing! immortal technique, jedimind, AOTP!!! what would it sound if sum mc like eminem tried to rap over stoupes beats? a fuckin pile of garbage! it´s shud stay semi ug couse if theser guys try to sign on some major record label it´s the ond of tha story! look what happened to mobbdeep!

  • vinnie is ill i agree he was better in the early days but even since he digressed from that style, hes still way more amazing than any1 else i can think of

  • true dat...

  • and thats real

    Jedi Mind & Jus Allah

    Immortal Technique

    AOTP

are the realest cats out there

  • lol ever heard of Brother Ali? Rugged Intellect? Murs? 9th Wonder and Buckshot?theirs plenty of talent in the current underground. Secondly theirs nothing "real" about half of AOTP and Jus allah espiecially. Their lyrically great on the mic, the reality is any real cat out their knows 90% of it is all lies. No disrespected intended but seriously their not real, M.O.P. thats real, Freddie Foxx thats real, Saigon thats real. peace do the knowledge

  • yeah i've heard of these cats...

but how can you say juss allah or half of aotp are not real?

are you involved to their life so close?

i have to judge mcs for what they talking about

  • for example, jus allah says:

"Life is a test and Islam is the strategy"

and this is real to me, regardless if im a muslim or not

he have power in his words, he talks about waht happen on the street every day

and im not a "Jus Allah Die Hard Fan"

i love the way the use their language and create something beauty like they do with almost every track

    peaze

  • Maybe I should have explained myself better. All I know is Jus Allah is 100% fictional obviously. He actually seems to be a legit guy i researched his life I sugest you do the same. I love dudes style and JMT all I'm saying is they bank on the fact most of their fans aren't from the streets to sell their "gangster image". Personally I think they were way better back in the day when they wern't obsessed with guns and violence but thats just me. peace

  • this is about where he got the samples from

  • oh i thought i would find out where he got them from, i wish someone did a video of that.

  • msg me and i will send u a link to download around 61 samples stoupe has used

  • yeah i know what songs their on its just their skits and when random people are talking is what i would want to know.

  • like the snippets from the movies and documentaries, i got those too..etc

  • Thats a sick collection, you got good diggin skills to be findin stoupe samples

  • what is the title of the 3rd song?

  • Haha this is dope, always wanted to hear the samples for some of those VBD tracks

  • ILL!!!

  • gil... berto
