@gigi172 $40,000 for a 6-Speed here in CANADA. St. John's, Newfoundland. That's $4000 cheaper than the $44,000 Lancer RalliArt with out the $5500 Sports Package (No Sunroof, Leather, Upgraded Sound System). Pretty good actually for a solid $40K.

Only a 5.7 liter Ls1 holden motor AND a turbo 4.0 ford 6 producing as much power as a 3.7 NA 6 Jap motor.... bet the 370 weighs less too. The Japs can make some good motors! why did they test drive a base? the sport model doesn't have a whole lot more to offer but the synchro rev definetely has a lot to offer for track day enthusiasts.

Put it this way. On Top Gear TV, Clarkson hated the 350Z and always badmouthed it, yet in the magazine he said it was a fantastic, inexpensive sports car and voted it car of the year. Top Gear UK is great, but it's basically Jackass on wheels. Don't take it seriously.
1st thing...this guy need to learn how to do a power-slide...Overall, I like Top Gear by Jeremy Clarkson, James May, & Richard Hammond the most...not only because their show is funny....but mainly their show is more honest....they actually tell you the Pros & Cons of every single car...Unlike this one & 5th Gear...only say the positive things and like every single car they tested...its like all those cars are perfect.
Well I personally believe that over the years, the UK version has become less informative and more about entertainment, and that accounts for its success. Whereas the Australian version I think is more informative, still being mildly entertaining as well (enough to keep interest but not enough to knock your socks off as the UK version does). I enjoy both programs, both are fantastic.
I agree, both programs are great. I don't see why we should fight about who's best and all, let's just be happy that there's three great motor shows; Top Gear x2 and Fifth Gear.
