  • YESSSSSS

I like this method a lot, 'cause like you said, it saves water.

  • I'm so confused! LOL do you rinse your hair in the shower than retwist? or just wash the twist? First time watcher!

  • @BlondeCbella It looked to me like she washed her hair with the twists still in then started applying that mud stuff.

  • may sound weird, but her videos are so relaxing to watch :p

  • @NiKKiBSEXCii I feel the same way!!

  • she's gorgeous

  • Just did the Big Chop....ugh! I am officially off the CREAMY CRACK can't wait for my hair to get back 2 it's original glory!

  • No malice, I'm really just curious. why do you have to do all of this to wash your hair? why not just wash it?

  • @Blackbarbietea she washes it in twists because she wants to make sure her hair stays tangle free. Also she wants to control how much mud she uses. That particular product is expensive. Hoped I helped! :)

  • @Blackbarbietea Just like her, I noticed it's much easier to wash hair as it's sectioned. Depending on the thickness of your hair, it could be difficult for the products you want to use to be thoroughly distributed if you just wash it as just an afro.

  • This is great! Thanks for sharing.

  • how often should one clairify?

  • Hi girl! I just love your techniques... I'm a newbie when it comes to natural product... before seeing your video, I just purchase the "Indian Clay" do you think it would be the same effect as your Terressentials?

  • i love ACV rinses!

  • Hi girl! I'm fan and telling everyone about you. My question is where do I buy the shea butter? Thanks.

  • You are so freakin sexy!

  • where do you purchase your organic shampoo from?

  • Do you condition after the hair wash?

  • @lytanner1 In the video she says she does not because the mud wash is naturally moisturizing.

  • My natural haired daughter swims weekly, will the chlorine interact with the ACV/mud wash?

  • you are amazing girlll!!!!!!!!

  • Honey, I'm too lazy for all that unraveling and twisting. XD

I only unravel to detangle with a tangle teezer! I'm going to have to modify this regimen!

    Wonderful video. <3

  • You are 100% correct about the Terressentials Organic Hair Wash. I have had my hair in braids for almost 6 weeks, I was so worried about the tangles I was going to have to deal with after I removed them. I saw this video last week and I refused to remove my braids before I picked up a bottle. I saved so much time using the Organic Hair wash, I don't think that I am ever going back to shampoos. thanks so much!

  • Your hair looks SO LUCIOUS and HEALTHY :)

    I love it!

    -Rochelle

    Simply Natural Ideas

  • did this a couple weeks ago and it was probably the best wash day ive ever had thanks so much :)

  • wait tho ...... you're gorgeous

    i mean, really! :)

  • Can you help me. I use this mud wash and I still have trouble detangling my hair. What do you use to detangle? Can you offer some advice? I don't use any harsh products, just the mud wash and shea butter for moisturizing.

  • Very helpful, about to try it now

  • how often do you wash your hair?

  • Thank you very much, this video and your others really helped me out so much and I'm excited to try some of them out!~

  • Hello! do you rince out products while hair is twisted?

  • Hi!!!! I wanted to share something with you, an easier way to use Terresentials! I squeeze the amount of mud I normally use in a spray bottle and add a little warm or hot water enough to spary muddy water and I spray it on my hair!! I love it!!!

  • GOd bless you for this broadcast. You make natural hair look beautiful......hope I can join u- lolol

  • that organic mud wash use is made like 10mins away from were i used to live. im getting my mother 2 go 2 there store in Frederick, MD. I also wanted 2 know if you could help with getting this product into Whole Foods stores. i called them and they said if enough people call and write in then would put it into there stores. Thanks

  • how often do you deep condition and wash?

  • @AMAZONbeauty888 she washes once a month..

  • you mentioned that you wash your hair "with product once/month" what exactly do you mean by that? Does that mean you wash once per month with the mud? or does that mean that you use another product more often than the mud? so confused by your notation. :-/

  • Question, I've watched a couple of your videos about washing with TOHW, but you didnt mention anything about following up with a conditioner, do you use conditioner?

  • @risesunshine she doesn't use conditioner... the mud wash itself is already moisturizing enough.. hope that helps.

  • @risesunshine i think she just seals with shea butter....it's probably just what works for her hair...it's all trial and error...i personally have to use a conditioner after but not much...

  • so ACV is used before shampoo? to remove dirt im guessing? dumb question i know lol

  • LOL your reenactment is so funny! :D

  • How often are you washing your hair like that? Do you use the ACV every time?

  • I have problems detangling my hair with the Organic Hair wash, I have tried the Lavender wash and the Left Coast Lemon version. It's tough even detangling with my fingers never mind a comb. Open for suggetions 8-)

  • great video

  • I love this method! It took way less time, was super easy (I finger detangle) and I've retained more length by not allowing my hair to be loose and wet. Thanks!

  • Will this method work for short hair?

  • once a month really? what do u do other times?

  • What is mud?

  • I use acv after is that ok ?

  • just when I think I should flat iron my hair, you save me from frying.lol Omg yay, I didn't have a clue what to do for winter and being so bus on campus right ow I hardly have time to style my hair the way I want. This really helps!

  • I was just curious; how long does this entire process take you? You re-twist your hair often, and I can barely manage to do a single twist (my ends fray and don't stay together like yours do)... :-(

  • I've been using this for a month now and I'm having issues with dry scalp which was never an issue in the past. I'm going to try doing this ACV rinse once a month to see if that helps and maybe a hot oil treatment mid-month.

  • @ShyShayC

I also have been having issues with dry itchy scalp while using the mud (Left Coast Lemon Wash). I havent figured out what to do the help. I have one more wash left in the bottle and Im think about doing a ACV rinse after the mud to see if that will help.

  • I'd like to know same thing about carols daughter products. So far I love hairmilk and hair balm. Never tried the shampoos or conditioners.

  • Naptural85 have you ever tried Carol's Daughters

  • Do you use a comb in the shower? I'm a little bit confused about that

  • You are so helpful! wow!

  • Love love love your techniques... I will try it on my 7 years old. Thank you!

  • I love all of videos you are kind of a hair model to me,I can't wait to see my hair growing like yours

I've just tried this washing method but with shikakai (it's like amla I think) and it was soo easy and my bathroom is so thankfull because there is not as much "dirt" as before. Thanks again keep doing your thing you are great

  • Love it & ur music selection is gr8!

  • Thanks for always being so informative and encouraging. Did you do the 7 day detox as suggested on the Terressentials website?

  • Reading is fundamental... I did this shortly after you posted this video. IT WAS GREAT! So great, that I did it again the following week.... no bueno. My scalp is now super dry so I'm in rehab mode LOL. It is def a good routine but ACV should only be used in my hair probably once a month, I'm a goof for that one :) thanks for your videos. You've helped me to grow the longest hair I have ever had and it's SO simple!

  • One part ACV to three parts water is very acidic. You would have to put it with at least 100 parts water (half a teaspoon for every 8 ounces) to bring the pH up to a 4.0 into the safe hair range.

  • i'm confused is acv a clarifier or a cuticle closer?

  • can i use regular vinegar to cleanse?

  • Just used this and I love it!

    Thank you!

  • Why do you prefer to use Terressentials vs purchasing Bentonite clay and mixing it with aloe Vera juice and oils? It would be cheaper and you don't seem to mind creating homemade mixes.

  • @AlNisa21 i'm guessing she just likes the product so much and doesn't mind paying for it..i've heard of others that have made their own mixes and terresentials and continue to buy terresentials because they just like it much more...

  • So you do a full head detangle on DRY hair??

  • You never cease to amaze me!! .;) The best Natural U-tuber!!!!! including the products.;)

  • can that be used on locs?

  • You are very nice :-) I love your videos.!

  • This has been a life saver! So now I will do the following:

    -Wear a twist out

    -Finger detangle and twist

    -Add olive oil to pre-poo

-Mix shampoo and water in applicator bottle

    -Apply to scalp and twists

    -Add cheap conditioner to twists

    -Rinse

    -Deep condition

  • what do you use to detangle your hair???

  • Hi Napturals! I am lea, a 17 year old natural. I want to use more organic stuff in my hair. I have 3 questions:

1.) What is your favorite scent of the terressentials Organic hair wash?

2.) Any tips for growth thicker hair? Do you use Castor oil?

3.) Any tips for having your hair smell good?

  • I tried reading through your comments before asking a question that may have already been asked. Gave up, so many comments. :) Just found you today. I'll be watching from now on. How long does it take you to do all of that and how often do you do it? I'm trying not to gave up on natural hair with length. I am ready to chop it all off just not to have to deal with it. Haven't had a perm in 7-8 months but I don't have a lot of time to fool with this stuff :) and I work in a Hardhat everyday.

  • how often do you wash with the acv? and thanks for the informative video.

  • I'm so grateful for all of your videos. You inspire me so much so for that thank you! I've been natural for a little over 3 months now and I can only hope that my hair will be as beautiful as yours :)

  • Just wanted to tell you, I finally got around to washing twist by twist and I am so pleased! It was easier and faster than I thought. Boy, what definition!. Thanks again.

  • I started watching all of your vids yesterday and am highly impressed! I can see how full and long your hair has become, and it is a breath of fresh hair to see such straight-forward methods and beautiful outcomes in the end. I have hair in the 4's and still haven't found anything to help me so I'm eager to try Terressentials.

Never thought of apple cider vinegar on the hair so thanks for that too! (^_^) I started using it on my severe chin acne months ago and haven't had it since.

  • what camera do u use

  • Comment removed

  • I love this! I can't wait to start this for my hair!

  • Do you u use the ACV rinse every time u shampoo?

  • is there a store where i can buy Terressentials Organic Hair Wash ? or do i have to order this offline ?????????????????

  • after watching this last week, I couldn't understand why I hadn't used any of my FOUR applicator bottles for my wash regimen before! Made my life SO much easier. And the ACV rinse before??? Genius. I had been doing it as a final rinse. Doing it your way, my scalp never felt cleaner!

  • i love watching your videos and not only learning tips from you but watching you on your journey and your hair gets LONGER and LONGER! Thankyou so much.

  • @susig123 straight hair is boring. ur comment is actually pointless.

  • i need that mud! lol it looks great for washing

  • just wanted to update - i used this on my serious 4b hair and my son's hair and it left our heads clean and our strands soft, yet strong. thank you for such a streamlined hair cleansing routine. I didnt use the ACV - i did an acv rinse a few days ago to avoid dryness and remove the first phase of buildup. Blessings and thanks!

  • Nice! I detangle before washing (outside of the shower) and wash in twists too. This method is awesome for longer natural hair. I love ACV rinses to keep my scalp healthy so I'll try the applicator bottle technique. I can't wait for the conditioning treatment vid!

  • what do I do about dandruff?

  • Thanks for sharing! Your videos are always wonderful my fellow Jamaican sister :) If I recall correctly from your review of the hair wash you mentioned that lemon is not good for our hair, can you provide more info on why? My apologies if you've already expanded on that. Since you reviewed the hair wash many people are loving it, but I keep seeing how they love the Left Coast Lemon, because they feel it is moisturizing than the Lavender.

  • can i just use some regular poo and conditioner after the acv rinse?

  • hay i am completely natural now but i don't think my hair is growing so i have 2 question for u

1-how long did it take 4 ur hair 2 get 2 that length?

2-i live in texas wat can i do 2 KEEP my hair moisturise all day?

  • I love all of your videos!! Even the short simple ones :) you're my inspiration...you taught me how to take care of myself & my hair & also love them too...I love seeing that you've posted a new video....I wish you could post one everyday but I know you are too busy & that would be selfish of me haha anyway I just wanted to say thankyou for everything...you are a beautiful person inside & out..I hope I can be as successful in life as you are (I'm 14 so I have a long ways to go)keep making vids!

  • Love your videos! Thanks for the info, I was just wondering if the "mud" is ph balanced? Do your curls bounce right back ? How often do you "deep condition" now that you are using the "mud" ?

  • I need to try this and see how is works with my hair. This is less expensive. Thx for the tutorial :)

  • Did your hair grow as fast when it was relaxed?

  • This is allot easier than the way I've been doing! what a pain that was!!! Thank you for the tips :)

  • how long did it take you to get that length? i'm dying for my hair to grow a bit but it seems like every one/two year I loose hair in the very middle of my head. That's gross and of course it happened again... what shall i do? great channel.

  • omg! thank you so so much this video its so helpful! you're legit awesome :)

  • You are my favorite on youtube, I've watched all your vids thanks for all your time and investment researching products for us. I made the fluffy shea butter, the flaxseed gel. Have you made natural dedorant? If so will you please let me know how you made it. Thanks for being true to yourself.

  • Hey Nap, do you think you'll ever do a braid-out tutorial?

  • Became loc-free a few months back. Combing hair after 15yrs is a little overwhelming but I got my Terressentials Lavender this weekend. Never have had my hair truly squeeky clean before. I love it!!! Results with a twist out......beautiful! Thanks for the advice! Keep the videos coming. Your advice has been very helpful to me. Nice to see positivity from sooo many sistahs. Keep doing your thing! :)

  • Your hair is so pretty. I can't wait until my hair is completely natural. I've just started but don't know what products to use.

  • Great Tips, Thanks so much for sharing;

    your hair is gorgeous

  • You have the most beautiful natural hair I've ever seen. Straight up.

  • LOOOL @ your nephew trying to eat your bantu not xD

    great video!!!!!!

  • I love the professionalism of your videos! Reminds me of Michelle Phan

  • balance 2.0

  • you hair is looking SUPER healthy. I love it! I wonder if I could use bentonite clay instead of the organic wash... just cause i have a bunch of bentonite clay. Maybe if i mixed it with some oils etc and maybe some honey? I suppose it would be an experiment lol

  • You are just so refreshing to watch. Your positive energy reflects through the screen!

  • Thanks!

  • Your hair is like mine but longer and you take really good care of your texture.. Please tell me what you use in your hair and what you used to promote faster hair growth ?

  • Hey girl, when are you going to do a length check? I'm dying to see where you are right now.

  • How long have you been growing you hair natural?

  • @naptural85 thanks for the advice. Btw I made the Shea butter and I love it. I did have to make it twice before I got the mixture right :)

  • Hi Lady, I heard you mention that you used to get Terressentials from a store in MD do you mind sharing which store that is?

  • please show your detangling method

  • This process has my very 4b hair in ringlets! Needless to say, I am very pleased. Naptural85 I thank you for taking the time to upload your easy to follow and very informative videos. Well done!

  • This is exactly how I've been washing my hair for about a year now. Saves me so much time. I don't have to jump in and out of the shower 100 times.

  • Thanks for the suggestion - I've read about the henna and indigo dye options. However, I heard that both dry out the hair. Henna also gives you a reddish tinge which I don't want. Thanks again for the advice and if anyone has any other suggestions please send them!

  • Love ur hair

  • Your hair is so shiney, it's beautiful.

  • Awesome as usual!!!

  • Just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Because of you my natural hair is healthy as ever. Love your videos girl. Please keep them coming. You are such a help for new naturals like me.

  • I love how simple you made washing longer natural hair. There are so many videos about people agonizing over their routines with longer hair. Thanks for the tips and the breathe of fresh air!

  • Thanks Naptural85! I was wondering how I could make my Terressentials Mud Wash supply last longer while still being able to clean my hair. Now I know what to do!

  • Your Such a big inspiration to a lot of females who are going natural. my girl watches all your video's

  • hey naptural85

    loveeeee ur videos

BUT U NEVER ANSWERED MY QUESTION =( LOL

what organic body soap/face soap do you use?

YOU SHOULD DEF. make a video on that to.it wuld be very helpful

THUMBS UP IF ANYONE ELSE THINKS SO LOL

  • Can you use Terressentials on previously dyed hair? I have had natural hair for 11 years now but used dye for the first time in years in April 2011 to cover gray. Couldn't take it any longer ! :) Anyhoo - I decided to ride it out and no more hair color. What's your opinion on mud wash on previously dyed hair and 2) any recommendations for hair starting to turn gray - some of us natural hair girls are past 25 (lol). Thanks. You're the best and an inspiration.

  • @Queenesq You should check out henna. It is a natural way to color your hair and it conditions and strenghtens your hair

  • I tried but I missed what u said in the very beginning when you said "blah blah blah, and then i sectioned my hair in big twists"

  • If you mentioned this already, sorry for asking again. Where in MD did you purchase your mud. I would like to go into the store and pick it up oppose to buying it online.

  • Please do a Co-wash video and a detangling video prior to using the ACV!!! :)

  • i dont know how you would feel abt this, you probably wouldnt like it but i wanna see you with your hair flat ironed LOL its soo soo long now. just once pleeeease ^_^

  • I am so glad you made this video. Do you wash more often in the Summer? It is really hot here in the South. Do you think Aloe Vera Juice could be used instead of ACV? Love your videos!!! :)

  • What is mud or what does it consist of? First time watching your video.

  • @AdoreHFM it's terressentials mud wash. you can go to their website and it tells you more . It is a mud wash but at the same time it deep conditions. There are about 5 different mudwashes depending on what kind of hair you have... dry, oily ect

  • u simply do ur own thing i like dat ;)

  • I Love,Love, Love the simplicity of your regimen!! Shows how LITTLE is needed to care for our hair, THANK YOU

  • Great vid & beautiful hair. I have been looking for a wash just like this. You may have already mentioned this, but where do you buy your wash? Also, does your hair, feel hard after the egg, mayo wash?

  • Great video! Really helpful. One question: what product and tool do you use to detangle?

  • Love it. I have been using these tips on my 3 year old locs. Natural hair is natural hair :)

  • I don't use the mudwash but thanks for the ACV prepoo tip. I have trouble getting the grub off of my scalp.

  • aahh i love ur hair!!! i think i have rhiar texture just a little less bouncy tho bu tmy hair is much shorter becuz i did the BC

  • I'm dying at the reenactment lololol Do you have any tips on products/oils that make the hair stronger and fuller I've been natural all my life but I have some thinner spots on my head that I wanna treat please respond thanks!!!

  • oh I forgot to ask, if we don't use all natural products do do you prefer if we dilute the mud in water, or do you think it's better not to??

  • your hair looks so soft and full of life. I absolutely love your hair!!!

  • By far the best hair wash video informative and interesting to watch.

  • You make it look so easy and your hair looks gorgeous! Maybe I'll try it out after all

  • LOL! he did! It was so cute!! Haha, love him! Thanks yvonnelee1999! <3 <3

  • Thanks for this. Appreciate it. I've been looking for an all natural hair care routine. I've already made my shea butter cream. Now I just need this mud wash. I wish there was a store that sells this wash.

  • I love you videos. I can't come to term with myself in using that apple cider on my hair at all:)

  • Naptural 85...what program do u use for your editing and voiceover??

  • lol, nephew just tried to eat your bantu knot :)

  • i have watched alot of youtube videos..my hair has grown alot...do you have any tips on how i can grow my natural hair.

  • I love this girl. I wash my hair similar to yours but i tried your version today.... OMG.... my scalp felt so clean.... Thank you for sharing

  • Thanks for the tutorial. Is the mud was not enough to use on its own?

  • Comment removed

  • When you detangle before you apply the ACV is your hair dry or wet?

  • I love your choice of music in all of your videos, where do you find your music?

  • Great Video. Love your hair. How long have you been natural?

  • i have a question... was it hard to manage your hair when it was shorter??? im finding it kinda hard... its not super short but it is too short to do the things that i want. what products are best for that middle stage???

  • I'm a new subscriber of your blog. With that said, where did you buy the mud? I've purchased most of my products at Whole food.
