@jscott1000 = no way, some tickets could cost you double if not tripple on a road like this. going 160mph - as you can see he had plenty of time too relax too the proper speed.
I run my V1 and 9500ci together all the time. The 9500ci is defintely more sensitive against 34.7Ka than is the V1. I'd say the 9500ci detects CHP first 95% of the time.
@MrBadfish2 - 9500ci is also, not detected by any RDD which your V1 is. but if you live in a state they allow it. well then it really doe snot matter.
This is the 9500ci, not the 9500i. Nothing can touch the sensitivity of the 9500ci. I used to own a 9500i, but I sent it to Escort and had them upgrade it to a 9500ix. I slightly prefer my 9500ix over my V1, but neither can touch the sensitivity of my 9500ci.
No true V1 zombie will ever admit that anything is better than the V1. More sensitive maybe, but never better. They will still talk about arrows and rampup until the cows come home. I own a V1 and it does not even come close to the 9500ci on 34.7Ka, which is the most common frequency and is what CHP is using in this video.
@bdrosserau That's okay we want hole that against you.

Your lucky this was a lazy CHP, most usually dont turn on their laser, radar until they see you. Catch you as soon as you detect them.
funintegras 1 year ago
@funintegras In that case no radar detector can save you.

Nice detection, but I think I would rather pay the ticket before I pay $1,600 for a detector.

Dont forget your insurance spike for the next 3 years, that adds up fast. Avoiding a ticket is worth a lot.

I've picked up KA Band with my V1 from over 9 miles away on the 15 fwy near Baker.. You're not going to see a 9500 do that.

It takes me a mere couple of feet to slow down. I guess you need 9 miles to slow down.

It's an amazing detector. It's so good even hardcore V1 fans admit it's better.
