Factor in those costs, and illegal immigration results in a net financial BENEFIT to the country. The greatest cost involved with illegal immigration is enforcement/prosecution, not crime committed by illegals (as the study showed).

While one might try to argue that even ONE added crime is one more than there would have been, the question should then be "Does the problem warrant spending billions to Fix?" The research did not respond to the question! The research showed that illegal aliens as a whole were no more prone to commit a crime (other than being illegal) than anyone else. Incorrect. Please rewatch the video. The study did not investigate whether or not illegals commit more crimes than other immigrants, it was if crime increased in towns with illegals. The study found the answer was No. I'm impressed when anyone substitutes their high-school logic for that of a multi-year study by teams of researchers.

Also, I think you need to retake statistics-101. If the crime rate increases at the same rate as the population, then you have a ZERO increase in the crime RATE.

In Los Angeles about 30% of inmates are illegal imigrants. Hospitals are closing because they cannot afford being forced to provide emergency room services to illegal immigants.
