This movie is based on the Japanese manga by Nobuaki Minegishi and Garon Tsuchiya! Give them some credits at least!!!

@expedition2006 yeah, it's true. But have you ever seen the original Japanese manga? IT'S TOTALLY DIFFERENT! you know, the director Mr Park created a new story with brilliant scenes. In that original manga, the story of revenge is lack of probability. I can assert that movie is much better than original. with good actors, good soundtrack music, and good director.

@flor77flor I actually own manga. All 8 vol. of it. The only thing he changed was the reason of his revenge. He left out some characters such as the teacher, and also some very good scenes from the manga. I was disappointed by this movie. The manga is way bettr in my opinion. There's more character development in the manga! READ THE MANGA PEOPLE!!!

@expedition2006 You're actually the first person I've heard that said the manga was better.. Everyone else said that it was pretty lackluster compared to the movie.. Although I haven't read it myself.. If you think it's really that much better, I might check it out now..

@Gordikramer Yeah, you should check it out. The story is well character driven in the manga and just when you think you'll know whats gonna happen you get caught by surprised. I guess the ending might disappoint some people. But people in real life hold grudges; even some that people might find stupid.
