um...its like chibi-robo in a way were there are rooms and each room has different things but sometimes there are hallways or passages. so its 50/50 on the open world thing.

I really like this game,(beat it today) but was not as good as it couldve been. A lot was taken out from the original, and there is a continuous stream of references discontinued ideas, as if they forgot about them. Example: it references Pax's power to control the infection but no more than that, and there is a secret ally you can unlock in kudzu request but he just disappears after the level never to return in any other lever. But its still a good game, 8/10 IMO.
