Does anyone know why De Niro keeps using different pistols? Here, and in another scene where he's alone in his house, he has a USP, but then he also carries and uses a P220...
Fairly risky of val kilmer shooting that guy, when the guy was 1:59 when that guy was standing right in front of deniros oncoming car = deniro was in kilmers line of fire, at quite a distance. To kilmers credit, he did take time to aim the shot.
@JD3917 You can SADLY, say that again. What a GODAMNNED FUCKING WASTE of talent. I loved this guy in "Passenger 57", "Point Break" "SPR", "BHD", just to name a few !
@Shifftee there's a brief scene kind of POV from inside the white truck before the driver gets shot, maybe only visible on DVD quality, youtube on fullscreen may be too low-res.
@PostalDude245 Okay... I saw them... you, my friend, are one observant EAGLE eye for I've seen this movie a bizzillion times and disected on the tube and in my mind for I love this flick but never, ever, picked up on that. Good job.
@PostalDude245 That was not a G3A3, it was an HK91A2, a semi-automatic only, civilian variant of the G3 series. If it was a G3A3, wouldn't Kilmer have fired full-auto when he had the chance, such as after the white truck started moving?
@vasquez3006 yep, that's an HK91 alright, just like the one I have, bipod too, also have mine scoped, actually though after he shot the guy, instyead of spining him around, it probably would've pushed him forward slightly
and as soon as the truck gets to the gate, its sizemore around the corner with an 870. god i fuckin love this movie. its still badass over 13 years later
You're right, I missed it. The 870 has the two trigger group pins on the receiver. Plus that Benelli has a full extension mag tube like the 870 express magnum. At a glance they look similar.
phantom youre right. this film is so calculated and ornate, just like the characters that occupy the intimate universe were drawn into. i'm guessing neil mccaughley has marine history in this film because of the patented double tap to the sternum followed by a headshot he uses during executions.
I agree, Dragonfruity. Easily in the top 10 movies of all time. Its also one of the most underated, and I never could figure out why. All-star cast, great acting, great plot.
I completely agree with all of that, but it seems to me - and you may agree - that, with the strong help of youtube posts, the legacy of this masterpiece continues to grow with each passing year, like a well-aged bottle of fine wine
Best crime-drama-action movie Ever. Pacino and De Niro: Always means it's a good movie.

Maybe just too change it up..He's Deniro they give him the best of the best.. they aint gonna give him a Hi point or a tauras milleium pro lol

@ScarletSnake I think he starts using the SIG after this scene because the USP was involved in the shootout.

@ScarletSnake each one was involved in homicides, a smart criminal doesn't carry around a hot weapon involved with murders
