I played all the Diablos. The first, The hellfire. The second and the Lord of Destruction, but however...I am afraid Diablo 3 is not going to be that the previous ones always have been... and that's the feeling, the soundtrack and the barren world of Diablo with demons slaughtering villages, the people and their minds. And of course... The Halls of The blind. Had to check every corner in my house when I got in to that part in Diablo I.

@Marcho700 Check the Skeleton King music, to see that it's still a very good and fitting tune. And see some locations from beta, are much more dark than those in d2. Still it's better to try game first then judge. I rather to be optimist :)

@fartmaniak What I like about act three is the theme it has, like a big fucking jungle that makes you feel lost, looking for an ancient city that has been lost to the enemy.

It's just so intriguing! ^^

you can imagine how proud i am of myself for refusing to ever touch wow when i see more and more ppl saying wow sucks ;) i promised myself from day 1 to never even try evaluation copy of WoW. i simply refused to play a game with that kind of ridicolous graphics. reminds me of lego and kindergarten toys. later, i added other reasons to the list aswell, like the endless grinding. world of grindcraft would be a better name imo

thats hardly what i said. if you read again you'd see i based my opinion way before i heard anyone saying wow sucked (basically from day one) (when you still probably were wearing nappies).

sure you can grind diablo, you can grind alot of games, the big difference that wow being a mmorpg with a monthly fee and your only option. pay a license=lifetime of grind. not my sense of quality gaming time.

ive been playing blizzard games since i was a kid. my first game ever was a little after WC1 came out, and diablo 1 to this day remains my favourite rpg.

ill agree with one thing that diablo has interesting and big quests, Wow is just the same grind quest over and over again. sure it can feel like a second job sometimes, but it definitely has some fun in it. and i think 11 million people would agree with me.
