Very nice job! Science and religion only conflict if one insists that every last word of your particular favorite version of the bible is strictly and literally true. However, if you can allow that the prophets were inspired by God but not actually imbued with the full expanse of His omniscience, you can see how God might not have spent a lot of time communicating to desert shepherds about the finer points of DNA.

What does the Grand Canyon have to do with evolution? Evolution deals with changes in allele frequency in organisms over time. Last time I checked, the Grand Canyon wasn't an organism.

P.s "Science uses facts (some times facts changes" The bible pages have to be historically proven to make them in the book. But let me ask you my friend: Can you prove that napoleon existed with the scientific method? NO You rely in historic documents. A lot of the bible is an accurate account of history, some is prophecy, some are poetry and so forth.

It has taught me to love my brothers and sisters, to really know what is to love my wife and have great intimacy an much more. Science is so amazing because it is made by god. Scientific "facts" change over time when new discoveries are made by the love of god and guidance never does. There will always be great mysteries for science to unravel but the depths of a mans heart our own heart can only be discovered by the bible.

A good video! Watch it again, and we can only conclude, if the timeline is correct, that homo sapiens spent about 150,000 years poking in the ground with a stick. From man's first appearance, did evolution accelerate tremendously? Also from a consideration of known history and technological discovery, this must be true. As with all religious apologetics there is no reconciliation between what is now known to be true and what is written in the holy texts. They are irreconcilable because ancient men who did not know better wrote the texts. The texts are quite obviously false. Keep religion far away from science.

As an evolutionary biologist and a Christian, I gotta disagree with you here. Scripture is not false, it simply describes truth differently than science. Stephen Jay Gould, one of the most influential evolutionary biologists (actually a paleontologist) wrote an excellent book on the relationship between science and religion called "Rocks of Ages". Gould was, by the way, an atheist.

A different truth? What possible truth could be derived from scripture? It is scientifically way off the mark. It is historically inaccurate. It is internally contradictory. A lot of the moral precepts are abominable. It is largely a work of fiction. If people read it as such good and well, but some people believe it is the literal instructions sent from god and it is usually followed by the most barbarous atrocities.

God of science? You see, science doesn't require faith. Science uses facts. Religion uses zero facts. I don't see any faith healing emergency rooms. I guess people can only willingly be fooled so far.

When two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly half way between. It is possible for one side simply to be wrong.

Evolution has occurred, is occurring, and will continue to occur. Evolution has not created anything and cannot create anything. Evolution remains part of the natural process of God's creation.

Funny..everytime religion has gone up against science through history, religion has always lost. But im sure this time around on evolution itll be different ROFL. Geologists don't just use carbon 14 dating for age dating. They use absolute age dating methods by counting the rocks isotopes, crystallization, and radioactivity half life's. Sedimentary rocks are not used, because they are by broken off pieces of other rocks.

As a Christian and a scientist, I don't really understand all the fuss over evolution. I thought your use of miles to represent time was very interesting & effective. However, it was not very respectful of those on the other side. I don't agree with them either, but I think this video does little to foster meaningful discussion on the issue and just fans the flames to keep each side firmly entrenched on their side. I would feel the same for a video done in the same vein from the other side, too.
