You and your followers will keep using the same arguments over and over, decade after decade, even though all of your arguments were debunked on sight. Meanwhile, the culture will keep shifting forward, whether you like it or not.

I have to say she is very clever to try to join her opposition to same-sex marriage with abortion and religious freedom. As opposition to same-sex marriage runs out of steam, she can then try to tap into people's feelings against abortion or worries about religious freedom to continue the discrimination against gays and lesbians.

But I don't see how legal same-sex marriage stops straight couples from marrying. Her attempt at logic seems to be that straight people won't get married, if gay people are allowed to marry. That makes no sense, and there doesn't appear to be true where same-sex marriage is legal.

What an interesting life Maggie leads. Earning a salary by seeking tirelessly to deprive one segment of society (same sex couples) from receiving basic recognition and benefits from the government, which she herself enjoys, while portraying herself as some sort of victim. She's certainly found her fanatical audience, though, who shares her sense of superiority, arrogance, and condescension toward gays.  She knows deep down she's gonna lose, though (the marriage fight, not the pounds).

Marriage is not a religious issue. It might be performed in a religious facility but it is a civil issue. If Maggie and other religious people don't like a gay marriage, don't allow them in your church. They can go to a JP instead.

Maggie, I COMPLETELY agree with you. Truth and love has and will continue to prevail. And for many of us, our conscience does come from God. God created us therefore He knows and loves us (Jeremiah 1:5) I just want to mention that when civil marriage was up for a vote, people voted on misinformation, scare tactics and lies (sadly the majority from your organization), not equal or civil marriage. We cannot eenie meenie miney moe through neighborhoods or people when it comes to love/marriage.
