Great song, thanks for posting. I have this album on vinyl from '82. I also have 3 copies of "Karla Bonoff", I literally wore out the first 2 copies, and I have 2 copies of "Restless Nights" for the same reason. I do have "New World" too, but one of my favorites is the "Live" CD from 2007. What a voice!! She's in the top 2 of my favorite female singers.

On Karla Bonoff's Best of CD she states "That was written in the early '80s, and was my looking back on a relationship that I didn't appreciate until I was 10 years away from it, realizing that first love was something you could never go back to. One of the most under-rated and soulfull singers of the 80's...what do the critics know! She is great and this song proves it. Thanks for uploading it. Just in case anyone wants to get it, it is on a CD of the Same name "Wild Heart of the Young" and can be had from Amazon. The hit song from that CD (originally vinyl) was "Personally".

I have that very album. I was always wondering what that song was at the end of "Broken Hearts And Burgers" and, it's a long story, but I found out, bought the album, and loved what I heard. There was not one song from the album that I disliked and I've listened to it over and over again. There was another song from it besides "Personally", called "Please Be The One", but it didn't hit the Top 40
