We used to have a ferry between Rochester and Toronto in 2004-05, but the owners went overboard (no pun intended) and bought a Lincoln Continental-type boat when all they needed was a Ford Fusion (hey, I'm a Ford guy). The ferry had too much overhead and that forced them out of business. I still think a smaller boat accomodating a reasonable munber of cars and people could work. I was lucky to make one trip and that view coming in to TO is awesome. I miss the ferry.
@NewYorkCityBoy123 Toronto may be a little expensive but, trust me: NYC (I assume that's where you live based on your username) is A LOT more expensive than Toronto. I know this by fact not opinion; just look it up on YouTube. Not saying The Big Apple sucks. I'd like to visit there someday.

Even though if it is in a general sense, I still love T.O. more than any city because I grew up here. so, no wonder all the other Canadians hates us, people like u guys give us a bad name.

New York is really BIG in almost everything compare to Toronto... >_> Even with all that new skyscrapers being built now, New York still have more taller skyscrapers than Toronto by miles. Keep in mind its all Finical building there, while most new construction in Toronto are just condos & hotels.

Yes, it is indeed beautiful. I am proud to live in this great city of Toronto. The best impression of the skyline is to get on the ferry and see it on a beautiful sunny day or to have dinner on it at summer nights. The feeling is uplifting to say the least. Long live T.O.!!!!
Nice! I was born in Montreal and now I live in Toronto. I have to admit that most Canadians such as I used to be, have a flawed perception of Toronto. Toronto really does compare to Chicago, LA, New York, Paris, Tokyo, and London! Toronto is simply awesome!
