A Yiddish folk song. A Balalaika is a Russian instrument, like a banjo I think, but with a bowl bottom. "Tum" is like the sound it makes and "shpiel" is "Play". "Frelach Zol Zein" Happiness will be. "Tum! Tum! Play the Balalaika and you'll be happy!" Yes, Gevolt. You make us happy!! LOL My old yiddisha momma loves you, too!
thank you for your art. i am a religious jew and im going to learn some yiddish next year. anyway, it is important than this language (which was the language of learning for jews in europe for hundreds of years) be preserved, because it is a fusion of german and hebrew, making it a holy language.
hahaha this is AWESOME and funny for me - I'm used to listening to this kind of music in a more traditional way - definitely not so metal Rammstein like - but I love it!
Hebrew: Original language of the 12 tribes of israel prayer tounge of the jews and the sammarians and main language tooday i israel. The language was created from the "Aramic" language of the cannatian tribes.
Iddish: Language of the jews who lived in europe a mix of German, Hebrew and Arammic. The main influence of the language is from German since talking hebrew was forbidden by the jews during the middle ages and was allowed to be used only in prayers.
As others have said it is Yiddish. Yiddish is a Jewish language that comes from Old German and has some Hebrew words and grammar thrown in. It is usually written in Hebrew characters. There are also usually local variations, and given this is a Russian Jewish band out of Israel singing an old Russian Yiddish folk song I'd guess there is a good chance that some Russian may be in there as well.

@jsteele07189 It's Hebrew. It means crazy. "משוגע"
It has an ע
('Ayin)
at the end, which is a guttural letter, but most Israelis don't bother pronouncing it correctly.

@shkipahn
Actually this is Jewish European Folk Metal,the music that got alot of influence from European music language and atmosphere.
Real Jewish Metal that dates back to Jewish glorious legacy with more middle eastern music and Hebrew in some songs are bands like "Orphaned land"
From Israel
Or more aggressive and Millitiant bands like Golgolot
