Animals are defencless in our world and essentially are at our mercy. To quote Ghandi "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”. This and other animal abuses are a disgrace. What does that say about us as a nation if we allow it to continue herei n Australia.
