@ttenigma5 It's a Toshiba Satellite L655 S5083. No longer avail. I got one too and it's a pretty good for the money -- $499 on sale @ Office Max last yr. Windows incld. Can't find the exact specs in the manual, it directs me to the website but even it doesn't still have the specs that particular model. I chose this particular model because it has a full keyboard and yes, a web cam. I felt the full keyboard is an important feature to have. Check out Toshiba Satellite Series. Light weight too.
btw the webcam quality/resolution is not so great... ya need a lot of avail light. but it's not bad for Skyping or quick snap shots as long as you get plenty of avail light and the resolution isn't a huge factor. Peace.
Don't sweat it one bit. What you said is basically true anyway. Overall he's a good kid. I'm the "expressive" type, his Dad, who he idolizes is "low key". Poor kid prob doesn't know which way is up. This is what happens when opposites attract.

I understand what you guys are saying. In all fairness to him, he was happy about it, it just wasn't a huge surprise, he knew it was a maybe/maybe not sort of thing. I think he was trying to be "ultra cool" instead of humble and appreciative. Even though it's not a flattering vid of what should be a joyous memory, I allow this vid to be public so that other kids and parents can learn from what happens when a kid is spoiled. It's not attractive. None the less, he is my son, and I love him.
Im sorry to say this but your son is an ungratful little brat. He doesnt think of the families that can barely afford to celebrate christmas. I have seen kids scream and yell because they got laptops and he isnt even happy. He is a spoiled boy. When you said what you got man and he said computer like he didnt care. WOW kids like this piss me off

I realize he has been given too much too easily and I am not proud of this, but I am only half of the parenting equation. I too have looked at other vids of kids who got laptops and found it joyful to see their expressed happiness and gratitude, especially in comparison to my son's reaction.
