I don't wanna be too critical of your biological mother ... but she abandoned you after being irresponsible enough not to use a condom and realized that she couldn't support you, or wasn't ready to. Yet you see plenty of single moms out there. The one who deserves the real praise are your adoptive parents, who have supported you financially for nearly 18 years.

My daughter was born 2 days ago, I only hope she will feel the same love for me when she grows up, and understands how much I love her and how hard it was for me to give up the little girl Id always wanted...She went home from the hospital yesterday with her adoptive parents. They are a great couple and said they will tell her about me and send pics on her bday...still hurts I cant hold her or watch her grow and have her call me mommy, but it is for her.

:( This made me cry lol really hard even though I know Esther Lee is just playing the part of the mom when she was a teen and her struggles shes a really talented actor, cause I felt really sad watching her cry and being stressed. I'm glad your mother gave birth to you Gowe, and this song is unbelievable I hope you find her and when you do please make a video of it.

thanks man. i'm a graduating Sr. and adoptee. looking back on all the years i've worked in school, listening to this song, it's just another way i'm trying to do the same thing. Make 우리 엄마 proud, let her know that her sacrifice wasn't in vain, and that someday, somehow, we will be able to tell her that we love her. Good luck with everything man, god bless you.

@parrotpuut he's hoping that she also believes in God. I don't know him, but he seems like a very devoted Christian. Nothing wrong with that. To me, it only adds to the appeal to the song, but to each their own, i guess.

What a beautiful, yet sad track. This song is heart felt from the beginning, all the way to the end that I felt myself tear up, and I'm not the type to cry but this track just got to me. Gowe, you're a talented young man and I hope you meet your mother one day. I can't express how wonderful this song is.. All I can say is thank you for sharing this with us.. Oh my goodness Gowe, I can't tell you how proud I am of you for this heartfelt and beautiful piece you did for your umma. I'm an older Korean adoptee (born late 1950's) and have total respect and love for you because of this video. THANK YOU!! You are so very talented and I hope you are/will be extremely successful, and hope this helps to create a movement in Korea for single moms to be able to keep their child(ren).
