What you are doing for these animals is amazing. Thank you for the wonderful, giving, & loving people you are. These dogs are so lucky that you came into their lives. They are obviously trusting, loving beagles. It is so hard to imagine there are people out there that could torture them as they did. They have calloused hearts. Animals suffer every minute from useless medical testing. I'm in the medical field and hear about it all the time. A lot of it is driven by the FDA & NIH. Get informed about what happens to animals...dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, monkeys, etc. They all suffer and a lot of it is for useless "medical" reasons or purposes that have already been proven over and over again.

I don't understand why these dogs have never been outside or out of a cage. I mean I understand that they were being tested on, however why does that mean they were kept in a cage 24/7??? @henaright It's common knowledge that Crest, Listerine, Scope, Sensodyne, Purell, Dial, Olay, L'oreal, Maybelline, Dolce and Gabanna, Lacoste perfumes, Redken & Covergirl do test on animals. I'm not sure about Estee Lauder because a lot of websites have conflicting information. MAC Cosmetics and Revlon don't. Colgate-Palmolive owned companies only test when required by law.

I believe that in order to progress in medicine, there is a need for animal testing, if the drug is new. Cosmetics and medicines that are already on the market should not be tested on animals.

I have a beagle and, before I had him neutered ( I had to do it because he had a problem) a vet came and asked if you could give him my dog's puppies, because he wanted to use them as guinea pigs for his research. I almost said a pretty nasty word to the guy becaue he had the nerve to ask me that.

It's within everyone's power to prevent this. Please avoid companies such as Procter & Gamble, L'Oreal and Unilever. Thankfully there are loads of companies that don't test on animals. Google peta, "animal testing" for a comprehensive list of good and bad companies.
If you live in Europe please lobby your MEP for the complete 2013 ban on ALL animal-tested cosmetics. P&G and these other massive unethical companies are lobbying hard to quash it.

I cried seeing these beautiful beagles feel freedom. I used to have a beagle- Buddy- for 14 yrs, so I will forever have a special place for them in my life. I will be donating. And I will try my best from now on not to buy "animal tested" products. Thank you for making me aware of the horror these poor animals ara condemned to live. ill be honest and say that i never knew that this kind of thing goes on, because i didnt realize how sick people were. im a massive animal lover, and i would love to get involved in this kind of project.
the people who make dogs and other animals suffer through testing need to be locked in a cage and pain inflicted on them, and have needles everywhere.
animal testing is a load of crap. its sick and shouldnt be done. animals have feelings too.

this is great keep up the important work. i used to have a beagle and I never knew that beagles let alone dogs get tested on. I really have to say this really makes me sad that our own country does this and also does not tell us about what they do. Two of the few lucky ones who were rescued... There is just no excuse for this torture!!! Not for medical research - there are much more reliable alternatives, and certainly not for cosmetics and household goods, we have all we need. I have a beagle and, before I had him neutered ( I had to do it because he had a problem) a vet came and asked if you could give him my dog's puppies, because he wanted to use them as guinea pigs for his research. I almost said a pretty nasty word to the guy becaue he had the nerve to ask me that.

we have 3 dogs in my house. a pit bull, a keeshond -pomeranian, and a beagle that's almost a year old. the beagle is mine. i couldnt help but cry at this. i dont understand how someone could do this. its just inhumane.

Thank you for rescuing these beautiful furfriends! This brought tears to my eyes! I have a beagle who is almost 11. Beagles are great! I loved how their tails swished like crazy when they got out onto the grass and got love! What companies use animals for research? I would know which ones to boycott! Thanks!

It's within everyone's power to prevent this. Please avoid companies such as Procter & Gamble, L'Oreal and Unilever. Thankfully there are loads of companies that don't test on animals. Google peta, "animal testing" for a comprehensive list of good and bad companies.
If you live in Europe please lobby your MEP for the complete 2013 ban on ALL animal-tested cosmetics. P&G and these other massive unethical companies are lobbying hard to quash it.

How is animal testing is necessary! wtf If they so called are trying to experiment on animals to save human diseases than that is bullshit! animals and us human have distinctive anatomy.
