@allthatishere i beat that mission on hard it's easy all you gotta do is fast ac with high ammo count and atk then go to one of the corners the acs are programmed to no get to close to the edge of the map it's been awhile since i played ac4 cause no 360 but i beat it :)

I first did this just for fun after a few easier missions and only died twice then made a few mods and finished with the heaviest actual legs, AC, and head and of course with the heaviest weaponry I could put on it and I think I finished it all with my heath in the double digits.

Looking back to previous AC games, Aretha only has like its Mega Quick Boost, five gatlings and a huge laser cannon which is easy to avoid.

Nothing at all like Nineball Seraph or IBIS.

Just beat the game last night, and honeslty, this and marche au supplice had to be two of the easiest missions i played in the game. i only took 356ap damage on supplice my 1st run thru XD but i coulda just been lucky, never know

I used twin back-mounted grenade launchers and twin CANOPUS laser rifles (the KARASAWA-like ones) to defeat the final boss. Only thing I hate about the final boss is that it does a quick boost so fast. Had to aim carefully to take him down.

I also used twin PLATTE missile (the cheapest ones) back-mounts and twin CANOPUS rifles to take him down on normal mode. Grenade launchers definitely in hard mode cause he attempts to dodge like crazy. Big blast radius FTW!

Just so you know, this mission is easy mode if you use dual grenade launchers. Make sure you go for the weaker 32 nade version instead of the upgraded 16 nades. You'll need plenty of ammo.

@J21596 Uh... not really. They list the pilot names you know. Fragile is piloted by CUBE, an Aspina cyborg test subject with unnaturally high AMS. And if Fiona was the pilot of WG, it would just say so. Instead it says Unknown. This is because its the protagonist from Armored Core 4 (the player), so he has no established name. Fiona is the operator for WG; she's basically his agent. Go check the armored core wiki, or just play the game and check the Lynx names.

Yes, it is a weird ending. What it seems to me is, after destroying the other companies, White Glint and Celo are sent respectively to attack Anatolia out of fear. At first that mutant AC Aretha may be surprising. But, considering White Glint works under Akavit, it makes sense.

It's ALOT easier than it looked when I tried it.. ^^

Just use a FULL Tellus AC, AS back mounted missiles shoulders should be anything Anti Missle ( for said second half) , and a set of rifles EN or Ballstic (your choice) preferrably Ballstic (to save EN for movement)

Tune it mainly for Quickboosting ,Max EN Cap, Output & Load Cap. and thats pretty much it basiclly.. ^^

try to beat that mission with the Kojima cannon hands and one Kojima cannon on the back(aquire that by beating Silent Avalanche on hard) put the Sirius Hi laser cannon for Testament and guess what... you own Arthena with one shot from both Kojima cannons it really works BTW good job man really good owning

I have to say I beat hard on Seeding a Barren Earth in like 5 min. Hehe I kinda cheated a lil but as for mentioned you play to win, I use a suped up light-medium weight AC with duel back grendade launchers and either duel AoE grenade cannons or duel upgraded machine guns, I just buzz around and nuked him, and when he splits off into his lighter AC (to person who said was his buddy its same dude, kinda like how final boss in AC2 splits after he blows up.) I nuked him too >=)

Finally the action in game actually looks like the intro trailers.

I'm a fan of the mechwarrior games as well so I don't think it's a necessity for the action to be fast paced. Just that everything felt constrained and limited with earlier AC games and now this new series feels more realistic to what the creators were trying to do. I finally got the chance to play a demo of AC:4 myself and I don't see what all the complaints are about it still plays like an AC game just what I expected. I'll end up buying the games cheap by the time I get a PS3 haha.

@EntertainmentIsGood the new AC games are great. Nothing really wrong with them, but they do lack a depth that the older games had. That's really where most of the complaints are going towards. Also some people preferred the slower paced combat in the older ones, because it felt more strategic and allowed for more variety of customization in gameplay.

In AC5, however, it seems they're trying to bring out the best of both worlds. Very excited for that one. :D
