@Spectreitup Well I have literally played every C&C game as well, and the ones I enjoyed most were C&C Tiberian Sun and C&C 3. Westwood did really well with the gameplay style they chose. 3 felt like very good and fresh too. Generals was cool. The Red Alert series was good and I even enjoy RA3. C&C 4 for what it was, was good, just not as C&C 4. In fact, 4 is kind of what I hoped Arena to be. By the way, if you didn't know already, Westwood is still alive as another developer studio: Petroglyph.
@Spectreitup To be honest, if this game was what it was actually meant to be , I would have enjoyed it much more, and so would others most likely. The gameplay is actually good for what it is. But to slap it with the C&C 4 title and last game in the Tiberium series was what made it a shitty title. Beyond that, I really have no problem with it, I played it and I found it to be fun in multiplayer. Singleplayer sucked hard still. EALA would have been smarter, making it for consoles to be honest.
@Spectreitup Hell you maybe right, they may have stolen the bar and setup, but I find that hard to believe since other games use things like it too. But beyond that, you are missing the point, this game doesn't suck because of the freaking bar. This game sucks because it hardly resembles what the past C&C's were, not whether the bar is on the side of bottom or wherever else. I just hope the next C&C has base building and unit making without a population count.
@Spectreitup An exact copy would make the whole thing the same, plus other strategy games have the same setup. Each has their own play style though. I did enjoy the multiplayer aspect of this game, but for storyline, absolutely horrible end. Gameplay wasn't right for the final game. But I can only blame EA, the publisher, because the developers knew they were going to get laid off, plus this was never suppose to be C&C 4 in the first place. It's all about money in the end.
@Spectreitup Should they really be sued for such a simple mechanic as that though? Wherever you put the damn bar is up to you but who really cares as long as it doesn't interfere with gameplay. Sure SC had the bottom bar first and side bar for C&C, but it's such a small thing it doesn't really matter. Although you may be right in them ripping it off, it's probably not enough for a law suit. Other strategy games have a bottom bar besides SC and C&C.
Great game yet a sad sendoff for the series because it changed too much for the final game. Very good graphics, but it just looks so cartoon-like at points.
@28shadowisbeast Actually, there is a possibility that there will be a sequel to C&C 4, but C&C 4 is supposedly the last C&C Tiberium Saga game to feature Kane, where brings me to wonder how the hell they will pull off C&C 5, if it comes. And I agree with most people in the sense that this is entirely different from all other Tiberium games. If it wasn't part of the Tiberium saga then it might have been pretty good, but no base building and no resource gathering is a no go in the saga.
You need to consider one thing. One. EALA knew they were being laid off while this game was being developed. Two. CNC 4 was forced onto the EALA team by EA corporate because they wanted to milk CNC out for more cash, Three. CNC 4 was not supposed to be this game. This game was suposed to be a non canon multiplayer only CNC for the Asian market but EA told the team to take the prototype and make it into the last CNC game and do it in less time then they usually get. CNC 4 is a result of EAs Greed
Got all c&c+red alert games from the start till now. This one is the only exception. Will not buy it. It looks to me like a company trying to make money. Get back to base and into the spirrit of C&C we all know
guess what? c&c 4 was the last one of the tiberium series, now we only have red alert and generals (if they continue it), so technicly, THERE IS NO NEW C&C

beautiful graphics il give it that, other than that it seems like halo wars in terms of game strategy. solely a rock paper scissors game...

lol Command and Conquer stole the bottom bar from Starcraft 2. While Starcraft 2 stole their image from Gamesworkshop. ^^.)

Is it me or does it seem to take forever for things to die and NOD seems slightly overpowered.

@GeminiOrion9 EA made the biggest disappointment in strategy gaming history

@Spectreitup They stole nothing from Starcraft or Starcraft 2. Bottom Bar RTS interfaces have always been popular and CnC Generals had one too.
