@sxyspaz they definitely should have more west coast events (partially my selfish opinion :P) since there appears to be tons of interest and fans on the west coast. multiple anaheim-ish events would be so awesome. they can invite nada and july back to one of those then; get them the cheers/standing ovations that they deserve.

@EARPproductions I t should be noted tho that the only sound on the stream is coming from the tiny caster mics on their headsets. Then the casters are behind a huge sound dampening curtain. So that's why the cheer sounds a bit lame, but I can tell you from being there, it was deafening.

@EARPproductions in us east coasters defense, there was a hurricane announced that very weekend of mlg raleigh, that really hurt the turnout, lots of people on forums saying they cancelled their trip and decided to go to the next mlg because they thought the hurricane would effect the tourny. It ended up not doing anything besides making people think twice about attending.

I hope it stays in raleigh at least, I spoke to nada, and he bowed to me, it was a childhood dream come true.

@EARPproductions I would be lying if I said it wasn't the greatest experience i've ever had a hopeful progamer. Incontrol gave me advice, grubby said he was honored to meet me after I said I was honored to meet him. Being in nada's presence. The guy I learned how to play sc1 from. MLG is a great experience for any player or fan, seeing them in person, your heros, it really is like a dream come true. At least for us hardcore fans and players.

@jkantner152 that's so sweet you got to meet all these players... i went to anaheim last year and only really got to talk to/get autograph/picture from jinro. everyone else was too swarmed by crowds and/or busy, and on top of that they cancelled the korean signings so no boxer signature/handshake (i was heartbroken </3; even made him a sign i was gonna have him sign). did get to give ganzi a thumb up while he's walking though, back then when nobody knew him. so happy he's so successful now.

I was in the crowd, and it was great! If you think they "deserve" bigger crowds, even though the whole places was packed and had at least 100 people who had to stand to watch it, why don't you go to an event and cheer yourself? You'll see how stupid this post is.

i would cheer as loud as i could for that. Boxer would go out and do less to pump the crowd up but he would get bigger cheers, so don't act like that was the loudest the crowd could get, because i heard it at it's loudest. NaDa coming out with all that adrenaline and showmanship and he got less reaction. How about you don't be a dick, and instead of rubbing in that you had an awesome experience, why not share it for those of us that didn't get to go

That series was a nail-biter, I was so glad I had sunday off (usually work fri, sat, sun) to see all of the amazing matches I could (can't watch 2 streams at once) and honestly oGs/SKNada clearly showed just how high his level of play can reach, only wish he had played that well against DRG. He might not be the "best" in the world but he's long overdue for -A- tournament win.
