Ash is lame, he does the stupidest things in the anime. Well the anime in general is pretty much crap, though I did grow up watching it so it is nice for nostalgia when I still like the series.

You guys should check out bottomfive's channel, they find the five biggest plot holes/ things that just generally weren't very smart on the directors part. They review each episode one at a time. :D
