Its a G36c with a G36k carrying handle. i got my gun second hand with no rail/optics system and went with the scoped carrying handle instead of the standard carbine type. you should look a little harder at those pictures you mention because they support what i say.

JG G36C is actually better then the JG G36K in all around.

G36C- Chronoed 390 fps and tested better in most all accuracy tests.

G36K- Chronoed 340 fps and tested less accurate in most accuracy tests than the G36K even though it includes a sight.

depends which wave you get, my g36c is first wave and had the crappy 1st wave buckings. my g36ks are all later waves and are much more accurate. if theyre the same wave they have the same bucking , spring, gearbox, etc. assuming theyre all JGs,

MG36= the light machine gun version

@diveedende sorry to dissappoint, but it is in fact a C variant. the easiest way, in my opinion, to tell is to look at the hand guard. two "holes" means it is a C. 4 means it is a KE. 6 is the full length E.

its a G36k. it has a G36 optics rail but guns are classified by their BARREL LENGTH. (for the retards trying to tell me this is a G36k) i have a few of them both. i found the new G36k to be more accurate, probably because my G36c's are older and JGs quality has improved on its hop up buckings.

I'd say its better, unless you don't like the length. Its more accurate cause of the long barrel and comes with either the scope rail or bipod, i even found one with both! JG has a G36K with flat top, A G36K with Scope top, And a Plain G36 with A flat top and a scope top

This, i have owned both and much preferred the g36c.

The battery compartment on the aug (rubber plate is a pain), larger, heavier, low quality stock sights, though the metal upper receiver and accuracy was nice. If you were set on a AUG then i would go with it, their both good, but the g36c seems to be more useful in closer engagements, while the aug is more fit for a longer range marksman role.

i have one i bought form airsoft gi in order to remove the flash hider get a allen ranch 1.5 only take the screw out and twist it you might have to play with the flash hider a lil because its glued dont know why.

theres three screws on the base of the small handle, undo them, push it forward and lift it off, then put on the bigger one, you can buy aftermarket ones, but they cost a lot of money
