@eretrece It does end, seeing as we know a number longer than it which has an end certifies this. It may certainly be a supposed never ending number, but really it can't be as then there would be no real answer to the circumference/diameter as it would be infinite, so the sum would be incomplete. It's hard to grasp the concept of such a long number so it's easier to say it goes on endlessly rather than saying it has so and so many decimal places.
