This review is from: Norma Jean's Sun: True Story (Paperback)
I have read this book twice now, as I frequently do with stories that move me. The first time I was so overcome with the depth of despair and the self destructive behavior of the writer, that I didn't fully grasp the depth of the love he was shown by some of his family members and the ultimate enlightenment he experienced.
This newly edited release of Norma Jean's Sun will certainly exceed expectations. The story is not only convincingly true, but will rivet the reader with its genuine and unassuming pathos. Norma Jean's Sun is painfully reflective yet ultimately hopeful. The reader will be challenged to answer the difficult questions of right and wrong as they may apply to his or her own life.
