@XxMafiaSoljaxX Fret may be Davin James too. Thom Bresh plays fingerstyle --- Davin flatpicks and sounds just like Fretkillr.  Whoever he is -- or was -- he brought many of us to tears with his renditions of some great old music. I miss him. Fret, wherever ya are -- we love ya, man! :-)

What are YouTube Execs thinking ??? They kill the best of YouTube.....and keep worthless Sh**. Bring back Fretkillr, Fragenbastic, Podline6, and who knows what else they've killed. I, too, have learned a lot about playing guitar from these folks. The more folks you get interested in playing and enjoying music, the more likely they are to actually purchase music. I think short sighted managers are shooting themselves in the foot by deleting selective artists. Why not just close YouTube ?

YouTube seemingly has turned their website into the equivilant of a Dictatorship with their deliberate and selective sensorship of an individual whos talent far exceeds some of the shit I have seen on here attempting to cover copywritten music!

In simple english, the better you are, the easier a target you are made simply by virtue of displaying a talent that surpasses that of others!

YouTube, toddle off and delete some shitty covers of copywritten music if you want to uphold justice!!!!!!

@LadderCrewman - So what actually happened to Fretkillr? Did YT delete him for having like 100,000,000 views of copyrighted songs, or did he take his own channel own? YT Nazi bastards if the former. Fret was one of YT's great original artists, like Andy McKee and eric Mongrain (who should be safe cause they do their own songs).

Wow, thank you with all my heart for re-uploading these renditions. More than anything on YouTube, I consider Fretkillr's casual, intimate, live covers (and originals) to be *classics*. It was indeed foresight that Lothar showed in saving these videos, and generosity on his and your part for uploading them for all of us to enjoy once more.

I'd only add the obvious: it's a crying shame that Fretkillr's channel no longer exists; his videos stood as a singular, original body of work. It's disgusting and arbitrary that the powers-that-be deemed his stuff unfit for public display.
