When it was first stranded. why didn't one of you ask if you could borrow a couple of Chinook helicopters from australia to try and lift some of the containers from the deck. well at least the 20 footers. Unless they are all being used in Afghanistan?

@Lastindependentthink Fully loaded containers weight around 30 T and a Chinook can only lift about a third of that at best unfortunately. Even if the vessel was at the wharf with craneage available, if one of the over 1300 containers was removed every 10 minutes working 24 hours a day with no break it would take over 9 days to offload them.
