  • It's inadequette. On one hand, it's good to see Pakistan from your perspective. I'm so used to the norms here that I take them for granted, to see your fascination over them (tandur, trucks etc) is refreshing. but on the other hand, you did not know where to look for North's unique beauty (although there are travel guides and booklets available). So overall, it was lacking.

  • I wanna go to China Through this way.

  • Great video, enjoyed that.

Particularly liked the shots from the plane at the end, epic flight that from Skardu, flying past my favourite mountain Nanga Parbat, at 8125m higher than the plane, great pics, better than the ones I took in 1994.

  • One of the best coverage of The Karakorum Highway, thank you for sharing.

  • That is one beautiful route. I wish to do it one day on my Re-350

    Respect from INDIA.

  • thanks buddy stefhoffer for letting me across the place..

  • As a nation, India is geographically, culturally and politically trapped, isolated and encircled. Now that it has been cut off from rest of Asia, the Indians (unfortunately) have nowhere to go but into the ocean. A look at a map conveys the inevitability of this scenario. For India to survive, it has no choice but to have excellent relations with Pakistan. This is a matter of time.

  • This is a wonderful video of a wonderful part of our planet.

Thank you for making it and for sharing it with all of us!!

  • what a great adventure. thanks for sharing.

  • Beautiful video. But can't believe you actually used part of the song titled "Bharat Humko Jaan Se Pyara Hai". Do you know what the title means?

  • @tushardesai Thanks for the comment, actually I didn't know, and after searching on Google I only have a vague idea. It has something to do with India and patriotism? At least you don't hear them sing in the video!

  • @stefhoffer No problem. I am from India and I liked the video. I only wish it was longer.

  • @stefhoffer BTW, the song's title literraly means "We love India more than our life", which is kind of true since the Human Development Index (HDI) in Inda is abysmal while the jingoism is disproportionately higher.

  • @stefhoffer :) nice ! anyway where are you from?

  • @stefhoffer and which camera u used?

  • @usaa47 Thanks! I used a Sony HDR (compact HD camera) on this trip, and I live in the Netherlands. How about yourself?

  • thanks for visiting and uploading, really Pakistan is great land one must visit here.

  • Pakistan “RISING” has established itself as part of a very dynamic regional paradigm amalgamating it geographically with Central Asia, Middle East and Europe. While also situated at the gateway to the Arabian Gulf, Pakistan will also have access to the waters of the Caspian Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Arabian Sea, China Sea and the Pacific Ocean. This positions Pakistan at the crossroads to peace and prosperity in the world and economic well-being as well as military clout

  • @ ChangingPak

This is a wonderful video of a beautiful part of our planet, for sure!!

'ChangingPak' your take on the geopolitics is certainly interesting. I have also recently heard the words "utter chaos" and "the killing fields" used to describe life in Pakistan these days. And, yes, I have lived there and I am in touch daily with people there who know.

Remove nationalism and look at this 'great game' in play AS A GAME & you will soon see this as China's back door.

  • hi plz can sum1 tell me what's the background music at 09:10 thnks....beautiful video specialy the skardu and hunza valley part.thnx for sharing

  • Beautiful video.Thanks for sharing :)

  • nice place i would love these fascinating places , the true beauty of nature . love it , thankx 4 uploading dear. pack up every 1 .

  • Great video. This part of the world is definitely on my list now.

  • Your decision to fly instead of going on the road during your last leg of the journey was a great one. Because it offers you a fantastic paranoramic view of the snow mountain ranges from above complete with cloud seas. But was it a decision made based on what you know you would see from above or just a last-minute but nonetheless well-made decision?

  • @ymhktravel Both actually! The problematic situation South of Hunza at the time made road travel very difficult. At the same time, I had heard about the spectacular views on the Skardu-Islamabad flight, and I wasn't disappointed. Stunningly beautiful area!

  • @stefhoffer wht do u knw abt modren pak?
