I don't even like poison much but honestly, unless you have played in front of piles of ppltoo in a well recognized band, just shut up. This version is great. No one plays like the romantics but these guys came close.

I simply don't like them and it doesn't mean that they are not popular or "good" to many others. My opinion doesn't mean jack anymore than the millions that come here and post some themselves. @gutendag The Romantics still tour and record and they've stayed true to rock n roll. They're not bonehead hair metal corporate rock guys like Poison. The Romantics never really made any money until the late 1990s, when they won a legal battle against their former manager who was stealing their royalties for many years. Members of The Romantics went from living like punks in poverty to actually making a livable amount each year and each of them are financially stable and well-off.
