Best type of music. I wonder how the mind of Miles Davis came up with these/his amazing, beautiful, and one of a kind solos/songs. I wanna see I guy emerge from Earth with as just as great as skill as Miles and to be able to create these incredible and unpredictable solos. Sadly no one will ever be able to match Mr. Davis- MAN why couldn't I have been born early enough to see a concert of his.
I love miles...wish i could play better Jazz on my guitar lol...I had to play So What for my exam and even though i passed i know my comping on that song sucked so much...wish he was still alive.
I would almost, almost give my soul to have heard this live in some small, dark, nearly, empy club around 1:00 a.m. in this or any Ameircan city back in the day.
@jazzman1988 You, sir, are correct. The vinyl LP plays the tape recording at a faster speed. However, this was a very common practice in popular music (and a trick with cheap turntables, too), and I'm not entirely certain if this was intended or a mistake. Given that my LP is a 1970s pressing (the recording we are listening to right here), there was more than enough time to restore the correct speed.
Wynton is Kellin' it as usual :)
