  • Tim Buckley + Pentangle???

  • what's that he is saying @ 6:41 and a bit later?

lovely perfromance, got to get that double CD.

  • amazing stuff timeless

  • One of my favourite songs from a wonderful album. I think this is easily one of the best live albums ever recorded. Everyone interested in music should know this. I even feel like buying more copies and give it to some of my best friends. A true gem, specially when you think it was performed by a 21 year old kid.

  • yummy good,silky smooth.

  • @lilstlove OMG, tears of joy!!!!!!!

  • this reminds me of the magic gardens in philly.

  • I am stunned to think that there's anybody out there who thinks Tim Buckley has a peer as a vocalist. He's never had an album that matched his gifts live on stage. I saw him back in the day (early 70s) and I've never - and I mean NEVER - heard anyone sing like that in my life. The power - the range - the emotion - it was incredible - transcendental - beyond what I thought a human voice could produce. So please - don't talk to me about Paul Rodgers - or anyone else. Light emanated from him.

  • @VIDJACK Have you listened to his son Jeff? Please do-I think you must not have or you would have mentioned it..Start with Grace and then listen to everything else that's out there on Youtube and Amazon.

Jeff inherited all the genetic equipment from his dad and his mother who is a classical pianist and then added his own creative genius--you won't be disappointed, exceot for the fact that Jeff is gone, too. Jeff IS his dad's peer.

  • @CattailsandRoses I do have Jeff's Grace album, which, indeed, is a fine work. I never had the pleasure of seeing him live, which is why I didn't mention him in the context of my post. But, yes, father and son certainly shared an amazing talent and strange, deep sadness. Thanks for the recommendations!

  • i love this song... so smooth

  • Tim Buckley's got the most soulful, troubadour voice ever, wild spaced-out gorgeous voice ever sung. I wish I could hear a utube of his song of the magician and phantasmagoria in 2.

  • who would win in a vocal fight paul rogers or tim buckley ????????????? what a fight that would be

  • @whatladlee In my personal opinion Paul Rogers would win BUT Paul Rogers Against Tim's son Jeff Buckley i would have to say Jeff definately wins hands down.

  • @whatladlee Actually it would be more of a tie between Tim and Paul for me but Jeff is definately beyond both of them in my opinion.

  • great opera!

  • the video is hypnotic without distracting attention from the exquisite music...good job

  • Hi lilstlove, Thanks for posting this version it is truly amazing musicianship both vocally & instrumentally. Thought you might be interested in viewing Michael Azzopardis version performed at Dream Brother - Jeff & Tim Buckley tribute in Sydney last year

  • I'm going to do a whole bag of shrooms and listen to this whole album and trip balls

  • Top choice my friend. The idiots who keep marking you negatively, should take note that this music was made on drugs and for people who use them. This in itself tells us lots about the boring, soulless music of today...

  • This is one of his best songs, you don't need owsley, or orange, or blotter or mushrooms, or peyote, or oxy, or dope or anything but your inner soul and good lovemate to enjoy it. Tim was not on junk when he performed it. I knew him. i was born two year after his birthday. Peace.

  • Marvellous... My very favourite Tim's song - thanks so much for sharing!!!

  • Hi there 22018, this version of 'Hallucinations' is off the double album 'Dream Letter Live in London 1968' disc 2, DFIENDCD200. Recorded in London's Queen Elizabeth Hall, the concert showcases songs from Goodbye and Hello, Happy /Sad, 1 from Blue Afternoon and Dolphins (written by Fred Neil) from Sefronia. Every track is a delight, so hunt it down and listen on, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for asking:)
