only other thing to check is that you have calibrated the decks to the software, ie initial set up and also married the speeds, i.e. at the start of your vid its like the software is running at 33.3 and your 1210 is on 45 so when you go to zero pitch thats why the software stops the tune?
Hi i just purchase a TRAKTOR SCRATCH and i'm trying to install it into a mac its an 2g'RAM/160GB/2.4GHz.i bought T-S from an authorized dealer,my problem is when i insert the cd, i went by the book wich i installed audio8 drivers first than as i try to install Traktor scratch it won't let me to complete it, it says "items remening to be installed 47" i leave it on for hours nothing happens, do you know why it does this for? i need help, can you send me an msg back please
i kinda have the same problem but just its random and im still trying to figure out the problem . but i think that its my turntables cuz out of now where the stop and start playing again. and i did do the update for the interface and the software

Does your mixer designate line and phono to one channel??? cause my mixer splits line and phono amongst two different channels. If you know what I mean? Think thats what the problem is... first of all , make shure you've updated to the latest version of both the audio 8 dj driver and traktor scratch.
If that doesn't fix it , try reinstalling traktor.
and if that still doesn't work , go to the Native-Instruments site , they have a forum. post your problem there ( link to this video) en they'll solve it , and fast to.

Im having that same problem and dont know what to do man, im fucken desperate.. Im running a macbook pro and have all the system requirements, got a pair of techniq 1200's with shure needles with new styluses. My mixer is a older though but tried another mixer. For some reason I cant get a clean signal in the scope view, every time i load a track and drop the needle the tracks pitch/speed wont stay steady, it fluctuates. What do you suggest i do, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
what you have to do is configure the timecode.go to options/setup find timecode configuration and it should hav auto configuration click that and it should be working normally
@drechill: that might be true. while torq in itself isn't bad (except for the UI which I personally dislike), it needs a lot of work in terms of stability - at least that's my experience.

yeah id go for the needle cleaning thing, mine started going backwards infront of 200 people once but pulling all the shit off the needle sorted it!

When Traktor was first made it wasn't built to run with OS X or Leopard. You have to go to the N.I. Website and Install a PATCH.

check your needles often. dirty needles are number one reason for this type of problem.

What you need to do is double click on the pitch fader in the program to reset the pitch, then it will mirror the turntable perfectly.

You should have saved money and bought Torq from M-Audio.
