Can people just stop talking about the remake?! Yes Robert Englund was clearly the best, but, the remake was made for the next generation and to bring life back into the franchise! He declined the role, he's trying to take on new challenges...he likes Jackie Earle Haley and was happy the role wasn't given to some talentless loser. I didn't like the remake (neither did he) but it diesn't matter because theyre bringing Freddy back to life. It cant b an exact replica of the original so sorry.

@1stApocalypse i totally agree with you. although, i actually really liked the remake. if you look at it as an homage film, you might enjoy it more.
