I think cold porcelian homemade and store bought are equal price because:
store needs to manufacture it and then ship all over the world the supplies and shipping equal to 8 dollars but the homemade is the same you need a pot that you wont use again around 1 buck and then maybe some mixing tools also 1 dollar and then having a stove and or microwave but since you use it for other things the cost of electricity is 2 dollars and then the glue and supplies is around 5 dollars so yah............
Omg omg thank you! You are like famouse!!! Ahhh I can't believe you replied!!! Thank you! But sorry another question but, I am asking what you do, do you just keep the wrapper on then put in a bag then in a container, or you put the bare clay in a bag then in a container? THANK YOU!!!!!! :D
You are a very awesome and talented little artist !Have you tried making your own paper clay ?I love it for sculpting you have to experiment with the paper clay when you make it.Different recipes work better than others in certain climates .Thanks so much for all your tutorials I have used alot of your videos to make kawaii figures for my daughter !How long did it take the commercial cold porcelain to dry ?
will it still harden and dry even if it is rubbery and over cooked? and do you have to wait a day and let it sit before you use it? plz answer. i need to know
Please subsribe to maddyswim2199's channel, i would really appreciate it! And once you do, please leave her a personal message telling you that i sisters4everabnr told you to do so!
I went to A.C. Moore when I was up in New York, And I Picked Up Some Paper Clay, And I Was Like "O.O. It's so light >:o" And then it was majorly soft .-. I wanna try it ^-^
@Gymchipmunk um no thats not possible...... at michaels thats 5 dollars i think. and how exactly do u think ur gonna get a bigger pack for cheaper? lol
@MaryInsanityy nope. if its really rubbery and stretchy, its just over cooked. u need to use stovetop, not microwave.that way, u can monitor the cooking that way :D just dont over cook it LOL
@pookiebkawaii oh thats because you didnt cook it enough :) its too soft. if u cook it the right amount, it wont do that :) just try again :) it took me 2 tries to get it right :]
@KawaiixKraziness yes i have used it before. maybe its because the cold porcelain is too dry. keep it in an airtight bag and an airtight container. also, use acrylic paint to color it. when drying, flip it around and flip it upside down once in a while for it to dry evenly :)
i still like polymer clay and salt dough its really easy to make
half cup Salt
cup flour (doesn't matter what kind)
Just enough water about 3 tablespoons
So try that out it makes about a pound i would say of salt dough and its super cheap
Oh and it can air dry (which take about a week) or can bake at 275 for about 10 mins and it can be colored with acrylic paint but you can also paint it too how you will read this
Oh and just to say my birthday is on the 12th, 3 more days
@epicmickeymouse123 oh ive used salt dough before, and its not my favorite. it has a strange texture, much like homemade playdough. cold porcelain feels a lot smoother in my opinion.
My speakers are horrible so if you already answered this, I'm sorry ... but do you use acrylic paint to color the cold porcelain? If not, what do you use? .. thanks :)
@Lstar8D you can make it by just adding one part cornstarch or cornflour to one part pva glue (like elmers). some people like to add a bit of baby or veggie oil, but this is optional. Literally you just mix....... and done!
Hey please watch some of my vids thanks
