Ours takes 5 walks a day (ok sometimes 4, since he is 4 already). If no other dogs around, then some of that free in the woods. Min. 15 mins. - one or two 45 to 60 mins. During the Summer (we do have loads of snow in the winter) yard battle over the ball or any toy on top of that. They are a handful when they grow. Cuteness is a trick, but I still would not trade for anything else. BTW - the walk-run-play (without Agility etc) gave good results - no damaged furniture ever. Have fun!

If you keep your Jack away from windows and introduce him to sounds from an early age, ie. tv, radio etc, then when barks indoors correct him straight away. Gradually leave him on his own, extending time periods as you go. If someone comes to the front door never give the dog excited remarks, like 'who's there' when the bell goes. Always leave the curtains closed, and maybe a radio on.
