hai. when i park my excavator, i always open up the bucket all the way and set the stick in a vertical position and lower the the nife or the theeht off the bucket on the ground like that. much better, and all the cilinder are in a resting position. and nothing can fall down or lower any more over night.i haven't got any video's yet om my channel but it will be sone cos i buy a handycam this week and gonne be posting some vid's soon. take care !!
nice vid off the trackhoe. but why is it parked so stuped whit the bucket like that?
it collects rain and can damage the boomcilinders. becauce off the weight off the boom it wil fall fether down over night. olso the bucket pins will touch in the dirt and wear out the pins much quiker. just a litlle advice from an old en experianced craneoperator. ps big fan off vantages
not a clue! rain wont get in as its not going to rain, but all of the others make sence! Ive seen alot of excavators parked like that so I dont know why!
Should have cleaned out the bucket for him since Jason parked it where you could film it.

yay I agree on that!
you to!!!!

@josderedneck22 We park it like that so the fuel truck can properly grease all the fittings without having to move the machine.
