body lines vs. no body lines...something that got me thinking was i know that in the dub they erased the body lines on the senshi, has anyone noticed that usagi never really had any to begin with?
The movie version has a higher bit quality. Therefore there are more colors. This might explain why the colors are lighter or softer in the movie than in the series.
With a movie the animators have more time to improve the overall quality of the anime. But as for the series, they have to rush things to make the air time. Right?
Color has nothing to do with this, cause the movie one is probably the one from sailormooncenter, which was probably from the na region 1 dvds, which has sucky colors and quality, just like the other NA realease dvds.
the series version is more colorful but the movie version is more clear. definitely hard to chose a favorites, but mercury and moon's movie versions looked better. the rest, the series version looked much better imo
i noticed that with the star power, in the series, when the nail polish glides on, the sparkle is beige, but in the series, the sparkle is the actual color of the nail polish.
@RisakoAkihiro Well, Reigon 1 is from the early 2000s. Reigon 2 has been remastered recently.

I wonder why they made two different versions... I like the series ones better; they are more vivid and have more character.

I like the series version better. To me it seems darker *light wise* than the movie it seems to bright.
