The video clearly illustrates what a lie this is. Watch it frame by frame during the time between the steps and the street. Which "one or two tea party people" are the ones he's talking about? I submit they don't exist. Carson is not actively focused on the crowd and there's no way he saw what he said he saw.

They discussed how they expected it to be much more hostile that it was. And how they were not scared of the crowd. Literally minutes later he told reporters that it was hostile and scary, that he'd love to see footage, and that he hadn't seen racially-charged incivility like that since his MLK days. Wow. Fail.

I assume you mean the footage right before the graphic, in which the congressman are shown being, in your words, swarmed by 4 or 5 protesters. What the tape shows is the congressmen being walked behind, at a distance well beyond the typical human comfort zone. Is that really an angry mob.
