It looked like he was going faster than 20 mph , more like near 30 mph going straight there. That thing's pretty fast for an electric go cart. The last go cart i had was when i was 7 back in the late 80's. I like go carts, but i'm a dirt bike kinda guy now days.

@dragata1 Can't ride a real kart in most neighborhoods. Real carts are very expensive and require way more maintenance. Battery power is quiet, easy to recharge, and is very kid friendly. My kid has a razor MX500 for those same reasons. He's had a blast on it. That's all that really matters.

I ordered my 36V motor at allelectronics alone with 3 of the 12v batteries. But the motor is running really slow, almost the same speed as the mini bike was 24v.

it would be faster with the 24v moter, but with the 500wat 36v moter you can regear it taller try a 15tooth pinion on the 500w37v moter, mybe even highter if the kid is under 100pounds. and 12amphour battery for longer run time.

We have both and the motorcycle gets ridden more than the go cart. Not until the bike is out of power will anyone want the go kart. The brakes don't work very well on the Kart so anyone riding it usually get yelled at for going too fast.

I've never seen the dune buggy operate. I'm pretty the ground force will go quicker but it rides on the street only. It sit's so low that it has trouble going up and down the curb. The turn raduis on the ground force is wider than the dune buggy. Not sure which I'd recomend depends if you have street or trail to ride on.
