I realy dont understand about the texture thingy. When i create a box and apply the current texture to it, it doesn't show any texture on the box. please tell me why!

idk why but when i press ENTER to make the brush it doesnt make a textured brush its still same with lines only in 3d view but if i select and apply new texture it still doesnt show me it textured, :( Is my 3d view messed up or is there a button or anything?

I am pro cod mapper make cod maps like original ones not css, :)

When i make a textured box in the 2D View, i cant see it in 3D Textured view, actually i cant see anything in 3D textured or any of the 3D options. Everything is black, can you please give me a screen of your 3D Views tab in your configuration ? Please and Thanks :)

You probably haven't configured Hammer correctly. Search "configuring hammer first time" and you'll find a guide to help you. I'm not sure what else could be the problem.

i belive i am getting the same problem as herr.. production , i make a box and press enter but no texture comes up when i make a block you can see right through it and i have no idea how to get texture on any blocks i make ,please help

I dont get the 4 windows like you do (3D, side, front and top) there's only one window with boxes called "Configure Valve Editor".

Is there something wrong with my editor.

Its the first time i work with hammer editor

I installed hammer, when i got to: File - New -

I dont get the 4 windows like you do (3D, side, front and top) there's only one whindow with boxes.

Is there something wrong with my editor.

when i press enter, the 3D box doesn't get in the color i want, just invisible.

Ok i hope i understand it right. You create a block and it doesnt get the texture you've choosen and you cant see the block in the 3D Window?! Maybe you've to place a camera in the wireframe window to your block (red line to your block). Or try to click on the left upper corner of the 3D Window and choose on the submenu that will appear "3D textured". Hopefuly everything will work after this. If not tell me. :)

Try to click on the left upper corner of the 3D Window and choose on the submenu that will appear "3D textured". Hopefuly everything will work after this. If not please send us an screenshot in our forum.
